The Council of Scribes has passed the amendment to the legal code, which scaled back the number of bans on the proscribed regions list, and added a way to ban individuals instead of entire regions. Moreover, the Pharaoh now has the authority to nominate individuals and regions for bans, instead of the Council of Scribes.

Pursuant to Article 2, Section 1(4) of the Scroll of Ma'at, an amendment requires the assent of the Pharaoh to become law; of which is humbly requested from your Royal Highness.[/justify]
