If you look at it from a professional clown's point of view, it's sad. There are men and women that professionally go to birthdays and parties dressed as clowns to entertain, and now the public and social media are putting these people out of business by calling them murderers. That is someone's JOB
and we are taking that away from them. They could have families, children, wives, husbands, and if they are a professional clown, they may not have any other ways to make a living. I don't know.
Lastly, no you cannot attack someone wearing a clown mask for no reason. There is a different between someone wearing a clown mask for fun and someone wearing a clown mask holding a knife for fun. You do not have any right as a citizen to attack and/or kill someone dressed as a clown because you feel threatened for no reason. This is making me want to dress as a clown and get my ass kicked by some punk teenagers just so I can press charges and get an assload of money. I've seen on twitter too many times the "If I see a clown I am throwing my car into drive and running your ass over" tweet. If you do that, that is assault whether you like it or not and the clown has every right to press charges and you will be prosecuted. This is by far the stupidest trend that 2016 has brought us.
The real clowns are our republican and democratic nominees, am I right?
