Current text of Section 2, (6) of the Rules of the Council of Scribes wrote:(6) After a motion to vote has been made and twice seconded in accordance with procedure, the Chief Scribe may delay a vote for up to seven days.
Shall be amended to read:
Proposed text of Section 2, (6) of the Rules of the Council of Scribes wrote:(6) After a motion to vote has been made and seconded in accordance with procedure, the Chief Scribe and their legislative deputies may delay a vote for up to seven days.
A very minor amendment. This amendment will remove the requirement for a motion or bill to have two seconds before being brought to vote by the Chief Scribes and Deputy Scribes. I feel this amendment is necessary so as to speed up the legislative process of the Council.

Any thoughts?

I just noticed that we didn't actually fix this issue, because we didn't amend Section 2(5):
(5) In order for a proposal to be brought to vote, a voting citizen may make a motion to vote, with a minimum of two other voting citizens seconding the motion.
So until that's amended, proposals will still require a motion to vote and two secondments before being brought to a vote. Oops. :P

Well, looks like we're going to need another proposal. :D
