Shall be amended to read:Current text of Section 2, (6) of the Rules of the Council of Scribes wrote:(6) After a motion to vote has been made and twice seconded in accordance with procedure, the Chief Scribe may delay a vote for up to seven days.
A very minor amendment. This amendment will remove the requirement for a motion or bill to have two seconds before being brought to vote by the Chief Scribes and Deputy Scribes. I feel this amendment is necessary so as to speed up the legislative process of the Council.Proposed text of Section 2, (6) of the Rules of the Council of Scribes wrote:(6) After a motion to vote has been made and seconded in accordance with procedure, the Chief Scribe and their legislative deputies may delay a vote for up to seven days.
Any thoughts?
