Statement from the Forum Administrative Team of the Osiris Fraternal Order
Regarding Acts of Administrative Abuse Perpetrated by Transdavisia Against Other Regional Forums

It has come to the attention of forum administration that Deputy Scribe Transdavisia has committed acts of administrative abuse on the regional forum of Coral Palace Resort, banning their root administrator account. Fortunately the residents of Coral Palace Resort have remedied this situation. Unfortunately, this is now the second time that Transdavisia has committed acts of administrative abuse, having done so previously on the regional forum of The Universal Allegiance, deleting an entire subforum and taking other improper administrative actions, some of which did not prove to be as reversible as his most recent acts of administrative abuse in Coral Palace Resort.

Forum administration finds these acts of administrative abuse unacceptable and believes they constitute a low-level but nonetheless serious threat to the security of the Osiris Fraternal Order forum. In response to these serious actions which demonstrate flagrant disregard for the integrity of regional forum communities in which he participates, Transdavisia is permanently barred from holding any moderation or administrative privileges on the Osiris Fraternal Order forum. He has been stripped of the limited moderation privileges we had granted him as Deputy Scribe, which had already been significantly limited due to his acts of administrative abuse in The Universal Allegiance. How this prohibition of moderation or administrative privileges may impact upon his ability to perform the duties of elected or appointed office will have to be a consideration that voters or the officers who may wish to appoint him to office will have to take into account going forward.

Forum administration issues a public caution to Transdavisia that acts of administrative abuse, here or elsewhere, are taken into account when deciding whether an individual presents an out-of-character threat to the security of the Osiris Fraternal Order forum. We have already decided that Transdavisia does constitute such a threat, but we believe the threat level is low enough that it can be managed without ban. Should more incidents of administrative abuse arise in the future, our view on the severity of the threat he poses to our forum security and how to handle that threat may change. We also caution Transdavisia that any future act of forum destruction will be a violation of the Legal Code of the Osiris Fraternal Order and will not be tolerated by forum administration. Forum administration will take action to address the out-of-character threat such actions would pose to our own forum, and we will seek prosecution of any act of forum destruction to the maximum extent permitted by law. We will not tolerate forum destroyers in Osiris, and our tolerance for acts of administrative abuse that do not quite constitute forum destruction is also quite thin. You are on thin ice.

We hope, going forward, that this public statement will encourage Transdavisia to have more respect for the integrity of regional forum communities in which he participates. Forum communities are the heart and soul of many regional communities, and acts that damage or destroy those communities, their bases of operations, or their historical records are despicable. We will not tolerate administrative abuse becoming a casual hobby for Transdavisia or any other user of this forum.

As someone who once messed up a forum and therefore spent 11 months banned from Osiris, Transdavisia, trust me when I say you're extremely fortunate that you have gone without a ban. I believe you know that too. No matter what is on a forum, or who is on a forum, you can't mess it up.
