Culture
If I am elected there will be a lot of focus on the culture ministry this term, I believe this is the ministry that can break the inactivity we currently have. One of the things I want to do is use polls regularly though out the whole term. I think polls will bring more activity by people disusing it on the Regional Message Board and hopefully we will get more poll suggestions from the citizens. Polls are a great feature on NS that was unfortunately under used last term. I will also try to stay active on the Regional Message Board, this will most likely not be a problem since I check my nations very often. On these offsite forums I will be working with the Scribe of culture and the priesthood to bring you more fun games such as avatar contests. Staying active in the spamming are is also something I want, spam is one of my favorite things on offsite forums so this will be easy to do. Roleplay is another thing that can drive activity and I hope to really get our roleplay section going this term. Unfortunately I am not that much of a roleplayer my self so I would need some help from the scribe of culture on this one but I would defiantly one a rp or two if they seemed fun or interesting.
Foreign Affairs
The big issue in foreign affairs currently as I write this campaign is the predator issue, and I will talk about that here since I am sure I would get questions about it if I did not. The fact that raiders have been cheating involuntary for a long time is a big issue, and I do feel that the organizations that used it needs to be punished in some way even if they did not intend to cheat. I would support temporarily suspending our relations with both DEN and TBH, other regions I am in and regions we have embassies with have done the same and I think its the right thing to do. After the moderation ruling has taken place we could think about reopening them but I think this needs to have a strong and long lasting consequences on them to show that Osiris does not support those who cheat and that cheating will have consequences beyond maybe loosing a nation or two. Beyond this I would be working with the Scribe of foreign affairs to see who of our diplomats is still here and hopefully restart our ambassador program, and working with the scribe of media to make and distribute a new issue of the oracle to our embassy partners.
I will also take time here to talk about me and predator because I am sure it would be a question as well. I never used predator my self but I was in on many tag raids triggered by predator, I did now it was made by Halc but since it was made preDOS and Halc was a big raider before his DOS I assumed it was legal. I knew that Halc was updating it since Cora talked pretty open about it to him in Cimmeria chat, I did not at the time see it as anything bad since Halc did not directly do anything on the site. I see now that me believing this about Halc and not stop going on tag runs with it after he updated it was a bad idea.
Media
The scribe of media I would like to work with the scribe of foreign affairs, my self and the priesthood to write another edition of the oracle. Something else I would be interested in trying is having more independent newspapers publish here on our forums as well and maybe making a subforum for people to have their newspapers in. I think this is a good idea that could spark some activity but I would be talking with the admin team and the hedjet before starting something like that.
Sekhmet Legion
As a raider I would very much like to see a lot of activity coming out of the legion. Doing recruitment like Festavo has during the last term works to get some members but to get more members we have to show that the legion is actually active. Doing even small raids will get our name out there and make us attractive for people to join. Working closely with friends like the LKE and Europeia will be more important during this term since closing relations with DEN and TBH will make us lose two big raiding partners.
WA voting
I will be posting every new resolution that comes up in the WA on these forums and will vote as this forum decides. I will also be actively looking for good resolutions to approve. Since Osiris is such a big region with wa nations we can help tip the scale for how the resolutions goes at the start of voting.
