Nice. Good, old-fashioned questions.
1) What do you think are the 3 best qualities about yourself (they do not have to linked to your role as Keeper)
Humility, dedication, and character. I list these because they're what others keep saying about me.
2) Who would you say was the best Keeper and why?
I don't think there was or will ever be a 'best Keeper'. Anyone who didn't go inactive in the role did okay in my book.
3) Under what circumstances would you deny an applicant entry into the Deshret
If it is reasonable to conclude that the applicant would be harmful to Osiris in the role of a Councilor, or if they have a judicial sentence that prohibits them from entry into the Deshret.
4) How many terms do you want to serve if you are elected?
I don't know. I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
5) What will you do differently (if anything) that other Keeper's haven't done
Can't think of anything off of the top of my head. I'm seeking to be the most active Keeper in the OFO's history, so I guess there is that...
6) What are your opinions of a citizen-based and an elected legislature? Can you list the pros and cons of each?
I prefer a citizen-based legislature that's with-in reason over an elected legislature, because in my opinion, elected legislatures too often end up doing an improper job of representing the very people that elected them. Citizen-based legislatures, while they can fall prey to vote-stacking and mob mentality, can drive a region forward without much drama when done right. If you want a big, Unibot-esque list of pros and cons, then you're asking the wrong candidate.
7) How many Curators will you be having in your term and how will you manage them? Will you assign individual curators specific roles?
I absolutely love the fact that there can be Curators. I'll have about 2, I imagine. Don't want to saturate the position. Want to have just enough dedicated people there. As for specific roles, that's another bridge I'll cross when I get there. At this point, I don't know if I'll do that or not. It really depends on the state of affairs once I'm elected.
8) Do you think that the Voter Registry is still useful? If not, why and what would you do instead?
No. The fact it has only about 100 hits in a voting forum that's certainly been more than active enough in the past 2 years to warrant a larger amount of attention is a sign to me that in its current form, it's just not working. My alternative would to have an on-forum record of votes.
Thanks for the well wishes!
