Christmas Celebration Catastrophe
A Who Dunnit RP The Premise

On the afternoon of the 24th, guests arrive at Royal Palace to celebrate Christmas and are to be promptly shown inside by palace attendants. In the middle of the Crystal Ballroom sits a large Christmas tree for guests to place gifts for the Secret Santa event. For the remainder of Christmas Eve, the palace gates shall continue to remain open for guests to arrive while food and entertainment is to be provided by servants. Security shall be tight, as regional elections loom, high level officials and figures are expected to attend. On the stroke of midnight, when Christmas Day arrives, the gates shall close and the celebration shall begin until mid afternoon Christmas day.

However, unknown to all, amongst them is a killer intent on delivering one last Christmas present to unsuspecting victims. In the RP you will take control of a (or multiple) celebration attendee(s). How your character(s) fits into it is all up to you. Are you a noble trying to rise in social prestige? or an official with dreams of high office? Or just simply a cheery citizen with no clue what their up for? The choice is yours.


Rules

• Myself and perhaps afew others are incharge (with an iron fist ), and shall attempt to guide things in an interesting way
• In dialogue, swearing is allowed
• Fantasy characters are allowed, to an extent, but keep things realistic (Do note there is an invisible anti-magic force field over the palace rendering all magic useless)
• You can control multiple characters, but don't use them to godmod & state what character you are and location when typing
• You may control security guards, servants but be fair
• Once accepted you may post in the IC
• Time will move steadily depending on what's going on. We'll start in early afternoon and I'll make time notes in my responses
• If your not sure of anything, raise it up here in the OOC or ask me

Why are they attending: A political formality of sorts, first major public appearance as Curator and Former Keeper, of the Deshret

Brief Biography: Born and raised in the Capitol city of Memphis, to two lower middle class parents, Andrew left home as soon as he could due to high aspirations and an uncaring/abusive family, which greatly affected his personal character. He attended a Memphis University at age 18 and graduated with a Political Degree at age 23. From then on he joined regional politics, serving as Curator and Keeper.

Andrew is quiet yet pragmatic, with a pessimistic outlook which developed during his adolescence. Minor paranoia traits are also an effect of his pessimism, and his political experiences have led him to adopt Machiavellian means in achieving his goals. Despite this, he is comfortable in both crowds of people and in his own company.

Brief Biography: Born to a middle class family in Alexandria, moved to Memphis at 18 to study medicine. There she met Andrew and graduated at 24. Married Andrew at 21 and they currently have 3 children. Unlike her husband shes outgoing and a loud confrontational person. Will speak her mind as she pleases, but sharing the same pragmatic sense as her husband, however this is eclipsed by her dominant motherly nature.

He was always an outgoing boy, and always had a happy go lucky attitude towards things. He was also known as not one to pass down a good drink, so long as it wasn't a spirit. He was also quite the perfectionist.

Brief Biography: Born in a foreign land to lower middle class parents, Festavo joined the military and rose up quickly before moving to Memphis and becoming Scribe of War. He was elected Pharaoh after 2 and a half successful terms as Scribe of War. He is a bachelor.

Festavo is known his frequent use of profanity, sexually themed language and isn't very eloquent.. He was controversial in his past, but is now a popular Pharaoh. He is blunt and honest and, known for his joking nature and has been described as crass. He has perfectionist tendencies

Why are they attending:

To convince the Pharaoh to give a manufacturing contract to HelvetiCorp, an medium-sized company looking to join the big-leagues.

Brief Biography:

Martin is a young lobbyist with big ambitions, a great deal of talent (hopefully) and an unfortunate lack of experience. After graduating with a political science degree, Martin briefly worked an internship with an influential lobbying firm, but chaffed under the restrictions and lack of opportunity. He left and tried to find work wherever he could. Through a massive stroke of luck (and/or act of God), Martin was hired by HelvetiCorp to secure a hefty government contract. If Martin can succede, his career will be secure for life. If not, he may never find work again.
