You can declare candidacy or nominate other Councilors of the Deshret to stand for Keeper of the Deshret in this thread. Any Councilor is able to declare their candidacy; nomination is not required.

The Pharaoh and Vizier are not eligible to run for Keeper.

The nomination period will close at 8:00 PM Eastern on August 24th, followed by two days for campaigning. Voting will open at 8:00 PM Eastern on August 26th.

You may begin campaigning immediately upon accepting nomination or declaring candidacy.

I appreciate the nomination but at this time I must decline as it is my intent to run for Pharaoh again in the next election.
I would not want to leave the Deshret in the lurch so to speak should I emerge the victor.
