Hi folks,
So I have been writing this alternate history of humanity, and I have come to realize that the world I am writing about is currently very sparsely inhabited. I have decided that new tribes/cultures are necessary. You can help by filling out this short application: (Please keep in mind that I am still in the prehistoric era.)

Mercantile (More likely to have trade relations, does better in trade)
Expansionistic (Has a much easier time expanding borders into unclaimed territory)

Seafaring (Must be coastal, exploration and colonization much easier)
Herdsmen (Nomadic Lifestyle, Good adaptability)
Hunters (Military Bonus, less likely to become agricultural)
Builders (Bonus in construction, more likely to discover agriculture)
Gatherers (Most likely to discover agriculture, May be negatively affected by famine)
Forest/Jungle People (Must live in forest/jungle, skilled at fighting in and exploring forest/jungle)
Fishermen (Must be coastal or in an area with many lakes, cannot be affected by famine)

4. Morocco
5. Set to dabble in blood rituals and other nasty things. Wants to absorb a greater tribe through war one day.

4. Southern coast of Spain
5. Very systematic for a tribe, to the point where any visitor or guest infringing on their systems are punished.

5. Obsessed with dark stones, natural or painted. Big on the idea of balance.

Thank you! (Most of the world is still pre-agriculture, but one day, these cultures might be mighty empires, or something of that ilk.) Do you want updates on what these tribes are up to?

EDIT: I do still need more, so if Syl or anyone else wants to post, that would be nice

EDIT: OK, here's the first event with one of yours, Syl. I hope you forgive me for extrapolating on the religious systems you gave me and making slight changes to tribe names:

A new religion is born: Primitive Na:
This religion believes in one all-powerful sun godess, Na. Na is described/pictured as being somewhat plain, with very pale skin, short, flowing black hair, and eyes the color of green leaves. She is tall and solidly built, and seldom smiles. She usually wears little clothing, dyed medium yellow. She is also associated with earth and dance. It believes that besides Na, no supernatural entities exist. Worship involves the offering of one or more dark-colored stones in a special place at dawn or dusk, accompanied by prayer. This religion believes that all people should believe in Na. The clergy of this religion are called Techorri. Techorri can be of either gender and serve primaarily as healers of the sick. Techorri are sometimes treated poorly. However, they are said to have special powers granted to them by Na. This religion considers faith, chastity, charity and moderation to be important virtues. Coming of age in this religion occurs at 15 years of age and involves hunting and killing a large game animal, and giving thanks to Na for success in the hunt. Marriage in this religion typically occurs after several days in which the couple is separated from one another. The marriage rite itself involves a symbolic exchange of food. It is believed by 75% of the Chaon as of 5000 B.C.

Snapshot of Prehistoric Tim Culture: The Tim are a people who enjoy drinking, singing, and unarmed combat (often more than one of these at the same time). Women in Tim culture are usually expected to spend most of their time in and around the home, while the men do tasks such as trade, hunting, and warfare. The Tim language has a sound to it which a modern listener would describe as Mediterranean. The Tim enjoy eating fish, and have some unusual ways of preparing them (more on that in a bit.) Tim social hierarchy consists of farmers and laborers at the bottom, merchants higher up, and rulers at the top. The Tim are 82% Primitive Tim Paganism. They have no central government, instead relying on local governments to make decisions. The Tim have two varieties of clothing, both of which can be worn by either gender. The first variety, or style, which is typically worn by the rich, is known as Feakoaler. This style features very large and often elaborately decorated garments that, apart from the head, almost completely conceal the form of the wearer. The other, more practical style of Tim clothing is known as Raklaela. This style consists of trousers and coats of green or grey wool. Tim art consists of carvings on pieces of wood. The usual subject is the actions of a friend of the artist. Tim music is usually fast-paced, and is vocal, sometimes with the accompaniment of a small flute. Tim cuisine has staples such as Gav, a soup with chard, trout, and sheep cheese, as well as a flat-bread known as Flara, which is always served with fruit. Beer and bread are also commonly served. A common delicacy is Lavimen, a pie made from mole meat. Plums are usually eaten as a dessert.

Given that I am Russian, this is true. I do however like that, Wombat! It was a fun read
