Section 2:3 of the procedure of the Deshret which reads

3. Any proposal, treaty, or agreement at vote before the Deshret, unless otherwise dictated by this Procedure or by constitutional documents, will only pass the Deshret if a simple majority of votes cast over a five day period are in favor of the proposal.

Shall be amended to read

3. Any proposal, treaty, or agreement at vote before the Deshret, unless otherwise dictated by this Procedure or by constitutional documents, will only pass the Deshret if a simple majority of votes cast over a three day period are in favor of the proposal.
(a) The Keeper may extend the voting period to five days for treaties at the request of the Pharaoh.
(b)The Keeper may move to invoke cloture for the purpose of closing a vote once all those eligible to vote have done so.

This would serve to standardize voting times across the various types of votes held as well as speeding up the chamber a bit.
all in all making life a bit easier.

No issues in theory, although I'd like to see the retention of the five day period for treaties - alliances which involve our regional security are not things that should be rushed in my opinion. Perhaps a clause which would allow the Keeper to close votes once all applicable members have voted?

I made the extension optional based on the wishes of the Pharaoh, since they preset the treaties to us and might want them to move along faster in some cases.

figure a little flexibility might help. thoughts?

Gotta be against (b), in my opinion. Can't rush that stuff - gotta give people the allotted time in case they change their votes and stuff.

i'm just looking to avoid what we had earlier, where the vote was done, but we still had to wait three days to get the results.

howabout this instead

Then there would have to be a motion and some seconds. that way it's not an instant closing of it
