A Royal Wedding


Crowds gather outside the Palace and along the Mal to see the newly weds! In the later days of April, His Imperial Britannic Majesty the Crown Prince announced his engagement to Aleche Lancaster! Warm congratulations were given immediately by the citizenry and so, on the 6th May in the year two thousand and fourteen, the Crown Prince and his husband married in Westminister Abbey. Hundreds of guests attended the wedding and millions waited outside or watched the ceremony on the television. The two were married by none other than the Archbishop of Canterbury, Victor Severn.

Landslide Victory!


Elections swept across the Kingdom of Great Britain once again. Since the last update, there has been a General Election for the office of Prime Minister and for the House of Commons. The elections this term were one of a kind; Huxwells Fortier-Shaw was up against Richard Fominov, both experienced politicians in the Kingdom of Great Britain. Huxwells and Richard both came to the campaign period with detailed campaign speeches. Even though Richard belonged to the Torchwood Party and had a party backing him, Huxwells, as an independant, had asked and received the backing of the British Royalist Party. Yet again, the Torchwood Party and British Royalist Party were facing each other, although it did not lead to actual clashes between the two parties this time. When it came to the ballot box, the Huxwells Fortier-Shaw came out victorious with an astounding 85.7% votes, thus becoming the Right Honourable Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Great Britain.

The House of Commons elections were a different story this time as all seats eventually went unopposed, thus electing Damien Fominov, Victor Severn, Slade Fominov, Josh Sebastian and Odin Fominov Members of Parliament. The House of Commons filled with both new and old Politicians this term, and is already heading towards a great term. Damien Fominov was elected Speaker after Parliament was opened. Along with these elections new appointments were made to the House of Lords. His Britannic Highness The Duke of Norfolk, His Britannic Highness The Prince of England, His Britannic Highness The Duke of Somerset, His Grace The Imperial Viceroy of Ireland and His Grace The Duke of Leinster were chosen to sit as Lords. The Princess Royal sadly resigned early into the term.

A treaty is signed!


The third Monarchist Treaty is signed. In more good news, the Kingdom of Great Britain has signed another treaty during the third Monarchist Conference. The treaty, known as the Third Monarchist Treaty was passed by the Heads of State at the conference and then passed to regional legislatures where, in the Kingdom of Great Britain, Parliament passed the treaty and it was quickly signed into law by the King's assent. The treaty not only brings many regions together but it also brings many regions which have the same ideology together through culture and law. With the new treaty passed, the Kingdom of Great Britain now has an even brighter future with the rest of the world.
