I feel as if this thread has strayed from the issue at hand and become mostly Ad hominem attacks from both groups. I think it's in the best interest of Osiris that we calm down and try to debate using logic and facts. Let’s remember that we all want what’s best for Osiris and shouldn’t draw unnecessary battle grounds between us.

As I've been doing this whole time, whilst my opinion was being called "hearsay."

So can someone explain to me
why exactly we removed 10KI, RIA, and Solidarity from the PRO list, yet we kept the Wardens? Not only do both 10KI and RIA work
with the Grey Wardens, they also are known to destroy other raider regions, which is purely the only reason why we banned TGW and these other regions in the first place. So if this isn't an anti-TGW bill, then what is it? Clearly, either the author is just ignorant to the fact that 10KI and RIA is as much of a threat as the Grey Wardens are as long as we remain a raider region, or the author doesn't care about the security and stability of the region and cares more about passing anti-Grey Warden legislation on a personal agenda instead of what is safe to do for Osiris as a whole.
And if anyone claims that this post was flaming, I will scream into a pillow.

Reasons the Grey Wardens were banned: Holding Islamic Republics of Iran (sorta), Tim has a big mouth, known to raid raider regions when given the chance.
Islamic Republics of Iran: They no longer hold it. As I said before, Funkadelia (who wasn't even a Warden at the time, and never has been) refounded the region and while talking with his fellow defenders about it, they laughed and Funkadelia was nice enough to slap a TGW tag on it. Now, since he has switched to raider (or neutral, whatever) he removed the Grey Warden tag and it now says that it is owned by Funkadelia.
Code: Select all
Islamic Republics of Iran was the first colony claimed by [region]Osiris[/region], but is now owned by [nation=short]Funkadelia[/nation]. Once a tribute to [nation]Detective Figs[/nation], the eighth Pharaoh of Osiris, this region now serves as a frontier post for the edge of the universe.
So yeah, they don't own it anymore and didn't really care about it in the first place.
Tim has a big mouth / Known to raid raider regions: Tim said something along the lines of "I'll burn a raider region to the ground," and never explicitly mentioned Osiris. Tim has since then, expressed his interests in coming back to Osiris and contributing to the community. He was a former Pharaoh, and he assisted Cormac in the coup that created the version of the Osiris Fraternal Order that we currently reside in. He doesn't have a reason to coup, and has said that he won't. The Grey Wardens are known to invade raider regions, that's a true fact. Though on all occasions, their leadership has said that they neither have the time nor the desire to coup Osiris. This may not be very convincing to some. To prevent us from other threats, and to maintain the security and stability in Osiris, and in order to convince those that disagree with me, I think it will be a good idea to switch our alignment to neutral. This would mean that we will simultaneously raid and defend, when both are in the interests of Osiris. Their former leader, Benevolent Thomas, made a statement about TGW's policies of independent/neutral regions (specifically TNP, but Osiris can be substituted in for it. I'll link later, can't find it at the moment) where he said that they will defend against TNP's raids, like defenders do, and work with them when TNP chooses to defend. At the same time, they will not consider the neutral/independent region as raider and have no reason to try to invade them. So, in turn, we will not have 4+ regions out there that are a threat to us explicitly because we identify as raider.

Let me get this straight. You are saying, instead of sticking to our guns, and our established traditions, by remaining raider and keeping TGW out because of threats of coup (Which were specifically against us, your lack of knowledge on the matter shines through there,)... we capitulate to those who wish us harm, so we can bring in a disgraced former Pharaoh who specifically stated said desire to coup. while he was 2nd in command of TGW. You suggest we do this, because they totally won't do us harm if we switch?
It's a spineless maneuver that is beneath us as Osirans. We stick to our guns and defend ourselves, not capitulate because one traitor feels bad. You are asking us to suddenly trust people who see us as targets. And frankly, it's baffling.

Whether or not the Pharaoh (whether it be NK or you, probably the latter at this rate

) accepts or rejects Tim's application is beyond my control. This is about the organization as a whole. The rest, I've addressed to you on Discord in private.
