I mean if you are referring to the never ending war of the R/D metagame, then yes. But there was no official legislation or declaration of war passed against the Grey Wardens, just the PRO law.

Do keep in mind the current proposal on the floor does not allow exceptions, Syg.

I second Adytus' proposal.

I don't think that it was very appropriate to put this to vote while there is still a major discussion going on. I have voted against only so we can continue discussion and come to an agreement. There was a motion to vote on the floor from 15 days ago that has been seconded while discussion was going on. I understand that this is a serious matter but we are not limited on time, we have as long as we need to discuss and agree on the clauses of a new amendment. So yeah, my vote is against.

While motioning this to a vote in the midst of heavy discussion was not proper etiquette, I don't see any greater harm in the actual act of it being voted upon right now. We can always revisit this with another amendment if there's something wrong with it, can't we?

"Major discussion" is not how you characterize 11 days of no debate.

I agree with Adytus. Eleven days seemed like enough time to make an agreement that appparently wasn't met. Eleven days seemed like an appropriate amount of time.

Oh, you mean the debate that "ended" on me defending myself after you called my opinions hearsay because I may be friends with a Warden or two? There was never an agreement, because the person that wrote the bill, you, never got back to me in this proper discussion thread.

There are lines like this:
however, it is encouraged that the Pharaoh and Council of Scribes make use of Section 3 before considering this option.
that we still need to discuss. Because honestly this line, and many others in the proposal, are just terrible legislating. So yeah, I hope those of you realize the issue here and vote against. If it passes, I will urge the Pharaoh to veto it.

Just because Adytus doesn't agree with you doesn't mean that this legislation should not have been put to vote or that it is "terrible" legislation. I think most people can make up their own minds about voting for legislation. This can be seen through the majority of votes on the matter. This is a democracy not a negotiation.
