What are your thoughts on strengthening formal relations with the NPO?

Reading your platform, I felt the need to go back and check a document that is nearly three years old. The similarities between then and now have made me smile a little.

1. Yes, I would like to provide scribes with the ability to communicate better with the region. Additionally, as we push for further recruitment, it would be nice to have other voices speak to citizens every now and then. Other than polls and telegrams, I am hesitant to allocate border control or appearance.

2. It is all about reaching out to our allies and see where they are at on the issue. We want to show them that we are interested in their opinions and want to hear their thoughts. We have formally made a statement and I believe that is best we can do publicly for now. Behind the scenes as I said, it is about making sure we are on the same page or are at least aware of where others stand.

I open to any possibility that the government and region seems to be best. We need to prioritize which relations we want to focus on and utilize those as a foundation for others. I do not see my connection to TBH being a hinderance. I am not running to benefit TBH. I am here to benefit Osiris first and always, and my decisions as pharaoh will reflect that goal.

3. While people may try to make the Predator issue out to be something simple, it is actually quite complex. I mean that I do not believe that someone who used Predator should be shunned or disregarded for positions in the region. With that said, my Vizier in mind is not R/D affiliated and as I mentioned earlier, I do not plan on electing a Scribe of War who knows how to trigger necessarily. Therefore, I do not see that happening and due to thinking about FA and PR, it probably would not be best to do so.

4. The meetings are simply intended to keep everyone up to date of what is going on within the region and hold everyone accountable. I don't see this becoming an issue with Guardians or the Keeper. The Pschent does raise some level of concern and that would be a conversation I would want to have with the Elders regarding this.

5. I would want to set up a poll to see what the region says. Ultimately, it is the people's decision.

I want to approach all of the GCRs to build some level of relations. Regarding NPO, we do have some mixed history with them. Therefore, I would want to make sure I am transparent with the government on ensuring this is something we want to pursue. If so, we will decide as a team how to approach it. A definite desire of mine is to build more formal relations with TNP, which we have worked on.

A cabinet with Asta, Raven, Sev, Diamete (from KRO), and Koth would be pretty badass if you ask me.

I do appreciate that you're basically saying this won't happen, but as I've already ruled out voting for one candidate on this basis, to be fair I need to press a bit on this. You don't unequivocally say you would rule out nominating a Predator user for Vizier or, more likely given you have a Vizier already in mind, Scribe of War. Should I take that to mean you aren't likely to nominate a Predator user, but you aren't ruling it out?

I think it is not advantageous for us to completely rule out this possibility as a region because then the question becomes does this mean predator users will be shunned from those positions indefinitely? For how long? What about other positions? Are we shunning them from the region? In my opinion, this type of mindset can lead to a lot of potentially other dangerous practices.

With that said, at this time, I do believe it is best for our region to not have someone who has used predator in those positions and I will act accordingly to this belief.
