As Chief Vizier of Osiris, I will deliver a fresh perspective to the problems that we face together as a region. Although, we are more active then ever before, we have a dwindling number of active forum participants. Combined this with our unfairly tarnished public image, we continue face serious problems as a region.

Although I may be inexperienced in a head of government role, I hope to counter this by selecting an experienced and capable Council of Viziers. The Council of Viziers will remain relatively unchanged however, I will be establishing a Foreign Affairs portfolio.

The primary focus of my term as Chief Vizier will be ensuring that we remain stable and ramping up our integration efforts so we have a more active Osiris. Some of the ways in which my Council of Viziers will tackle integration will be by establishing a regional mentor program to help new players find their feet in a very large and often very confusing region, by establishing a weekly regional newsletter which will be delivered over telegram and by establishing an awards system where nations are rewarded for fufilling specific tasks (such as endorsing the WAD and staying in Osiris for a certain length of time).

So, citizens of Osiris, vote for Gradea for Chief Vizier and we will make a more active Osiris for all.

Some questions I'll be asking all candidates unless they've already addressed them in their platforms:

1. We have a rough time getting in-game residents onto the forum. As Chief Vizier, what kind of plans would you want to implement to address that? Are there other ways besides recruiting our own in-game population you would like to draw in people?

2. How do you see the relationship between the Pharaoh and the Chief Vizier? And the relationship between the Chief Vizier and the Council of Viziers?

3. What do you see as the most pressing foreign affairs issue to be addressed during your term, if you're elected Chief Vizier?

4. You log in and you're told that there has been a coup perpetrated by Grand Central in The East Pacific, but also that The Land of Kings and Emperors has abruptly gone founderless and been invaded by the Grey Wardens. How do you respond to this situation?

5. You log in on a different day and you're told The Rejected Realms has been invaded by The Land of Kings and Emperors. What does Osiris do under your direction?

Integration will be the primary focus of my term as Chief Vizier. 2. How do you see the relationship between the Pharaoh and the Chief Vizier? And the relationship between the Chief Vizier and the Council of Viziers?

It is paramount of the regional governance of Osiris that the Pharaoh and the Chief Vizier maintain a good relationship otherwise we will experience political gridlock, infighting and civil instability. It is the role of the Chief Vizier to serve as the de facto political leader whilst still acknowledging the supremacy the Pharaoh holds over the government of Osiris. It is the role of the Chief Vizier and the Council of Viziers to govern in a manner in how the Pharaoh sees fit.

In regards to how I see the relationship between the Chief Vizier and the Council of Viziers, the Chief Vizier is responsible as the leader of this group. S/He is responsible for the behaviour and actions of this group and making sure they actually get things done. I will not hesitate to remove lazy, inactive, and incompetent Viziers from the Council of Viziers as being on the Council of Viziers isn’t a privilege or an honour, it is a vitally important role in ensuring that Osiris continues to grow as a region.

3. What do you see as the most pressing foreign affairs issue to be addressed during your term, if you're elected Chief Vizier?

As Chief Vizier, the most pressing foreign affairs challenge that we face is restoring our tarnished international image. Osiris has unfortunately always been seen as a politically unstable region and as Chief Vizier, I will attempt to correct this by attempting to reestablish diplomatic ties with regions that have cut ties with us. The only way to completely polishing our image is through time and by showing that we are politically and civilly stable.

4. You log in and you're told that there has been a coup perpetrated by Grand Central in The East Pacific, but also that The Land of Kings and Emperors has abruptly gone founderless and been invaded by the Grey Wardens. How do you respond to this situation?

The Sekhmet Legion and the Pharaonic Guard would be immediately deployed to the East Pacific as we are obligated to by The East Pacific-Osiris Treaty of Amity, Article III (1). Osiris would also vigorously condemn Grand Central for it's demolition of the regional sovereignty of the East Pacific.

If the Land of Kings and Emperors became founderless, I would, as Chief Vizier, order a very small number of Sekhmet Legionnaires and Pharaonic Guards to help defend the LKE (so as to fulfill the mutual defence section in the Treaty of Maxonberg). This deployment will be a mere token effort and we will instead concentrate the vast majority of our forces in helping liberate the East Pacific.

5. You log in on a different day and you're told The Rejected Realms has been invaded by The Land of Kings and Emperors. What does Osiris do under your direction?

Firstly, Osiris will not assist in the LKE's invasion of the Rejected Realms as this would be a breach of our non-aggression pact with them.[/quote]

Osiris will remain neutral in this conflict. We will have no wish to involve ourselves in a conflict that will jeopardise our diplomatic relationship with both parties.

I see a lot of big words floating around this thread. Whilst it is nice that you can write up a solid platform, I've seen others accomplish that and still fail as heads of governments. Given your lack of GCR executive leadership experience, why would I vote for you over someone with a proven record?

What is your position on Lazarus?

Of course! Creating a stronger, more dynamic regional culture for Osiris will be one of my foremost goals as Chief Vizier. I aim to brighten the culture up by having a regional theme sort of thing and by getting more residents involved in roleplays by setting up roleplays on the NS forum.

Well, we all have to start somewhere Amerion.

I believe that my lack of experience in a head of government role and the short length since my arrival in Osiris will allow me to deliver an unhampered, fresh perspective on the problems that face our region today.

What is your position on Lazarus?

It has nice forum themes.

What is your position on recruitment among GCRs?

I dislike the whole feeder supremacy nonsense that organizations such as the New Pacific Order push for and instead wish to treat, in my term as Chief Vizier, the feeders as just another region. And like any other region, the Osiris Fraternal Order can recruit from it if it wishes.
