Amendment to section 2, 11, b of the State Code

Since we don't do challenge elections anymore I think we should remove this blurb about them from the state code.

Section 2, Article 11 Paragraph B of the State Code of Osiris which reads:

(b) The Vizier will assume the office of Pharaoh in the event of the Pharaoh's resignation or removal from office by means other than challenge election.

shall be amended to read:

(b) The Vizier will assume the office of Pharaoh in the event of the Pharaoh's resignation or removal from office.

I'm not sure on that but here is the vote that was held to get rid of the challenge system.

Pharaoh elections used to be all challenge elections but the state code was amended to change it to regular terms

Yes.

The challenge to Pharaoh Venico Bright-Axe on 18th January 2014 by Councillor Drexyl Nox. It led to this nominations thread

The results are here, the victor won with 85.7% of the Vote. It was rather symbolic at the time as this was the first democratic transition under the new State Code, and done a lot for Osiran legitimacy outside of the region. Others can talk about the effects of that election internationally as I won't.
