Still Soaring
March was a momentous month for the region, with the LKE breaking domestic population records, but April has been even better. Our regional population continues to soar!This is only an indication that our policies of recruitment, welcoming, and integrating new members absolutely works, because not only do we still have a soaring population, but we also have some turnover to the forum, which is what our goal has been all along.
May the LKE continue to soar! Long gone are the days of low population, low turnover rates, and low activity!
New Diplomatic Undertakings
With all this added activity comes new foreign friends. The LKE is in the process of ratifying a treaty that would create an organisation called the Congress of Sovereigns, in which the LKE, the United Kingdom, and the Kingdom of Great Britain are the members. The Congress of Sovereigns seeks to establish an imperialist alliance to promote closer cooperation between the signatories and advance the interests of the Imperialist sphere.Secondly, the LKE is also in the process of securing an agreement with Equilism where they will recognize our colonies. The Prime Minister has also put forward a non-aggression clause. Now this might appear lean when compared to our standard treaty, but this is only because for the moment, these are the provisions Equilism is comfortable with, and the LKE intends to respect that.
Forum Reforms and Launch of the 10th Foundation Anniversary
The LKE forum has undergone, and possibly will still undergo, changes to the setup of the forum. Most of the government offices have been slimmed down, and the most important things are shown first. This allows the ability of new members to still maneuver their way through the forum without any added government bloat. Our forum is significantly smaller, that way all members can get to what they need very quickly.The Imperial Council is still making its early plans to host the 10th Anniversary of the LKE. The Council is in the finalization process of getting everything organized with the activities and and to finalize a nice theme to go well with the 10th Anniversary.
Large Successes on the Military Front
Since the dissolution of the UIAF in late March, the LKE Imperial Army has been reorganizing itself successfully. From late march up to early April, we supported our partners of the Black Hawks in a sucessful operation in South Pacific, providing 13 flagged units. Our support has undeniably been key in preventing further 'liberation' attempts on the region.
The Imperial Army has also very recently deployed in The Union, in support of our allies from Albion, this time providing up to 20 flagged units, one of our highest deployement since 2010. This reflects the wider success of our recruitment and military reforms. As ever, The Land of Kings and Emperors remains staunchly committed in furthering the cause of Imperialism and supporting its allies.
