Well, here they go again... The King today informed the Government that it has one week left before elections are called. For some awful reason everyone thinks they make the region better but we here at the BBC are just glad that its not our job on the line.
Remember folks, elections here are a gold mine, shit slinging, and a very small opposition... What makes it all better is the fact that no one knows whats going on until the day voting opens. Be on your toes, we will bring you hourly updated on the most epic election in all of NationStates!
Last week, King George VI crowned Prince Krimson as the Prince of Wales. Since his crowning there have been attempts to poison both Prince Krimson and King George, all have failed this far. SIS declined to comment but it is believed the one of the King's children is behind it. Following these accusations Buckingham Palace has increased the guards around the King and Clarence House is closed to all visitors.
We hope that the plot to kill His Majesty and the Prince of Wales is unsuccessful, but if it happens, you all will be the first to know! It's like a tasteless muffin sprinkled with some unappealing state visits, slightly tasty treaties, and terrible vegan frosting in the form of useless posturing. Every so often, something interesting happens and when it does, shit generally hits the fan. Well we have had a failed State Visit with British Isles, a very successful visit with Albion, and have been working our way to Ainur. Were hoping to makes stops in LKE and TNI as well but there is no telling how far we will get before them ere.. elections come around.

On November 11, 2014, His Imperial Britannic Highness, Prince Krimson of Wales, officially appointed His Grace, Duke Aaron Astoria of York as the Lord High Admiral (now called the Chief of the Imperial Naval Staff) and on February 6th, 2015 the Prime Minister appointed Cephal as Defence Secretary to act as Administrative Head over His Majesty's Royal Navy. Since then, the Royal Navy has received new officers. On December 12th, 2014, Commodore William Wessex was appointed as the Major Officer of the Royal Naval Operations Command, who is responsible for overseeing missions on the major updates. His Majesty's Royal Navy is still accepting applications and shall continue to do missions around NationStates.
Not many regions do the newspaper industry right. It's kind of a hard thing to nail down. The information is available to everyone, after all, so exclusive pieces are a rarity. Opinions get published by themselves and, when they do, they sometimes lead to a messy situation. So, how are we supposed to add to the experience? They don't really get used much in all but a select few regions. Which is a shame, really, as this game is built on roleplay. As a result, we here in the KGB would like to invite any with an interest in Role Play to join us in recreating our own roleplaying section as we look to move forward as a region that caters to everyone. <<< That is what we put out last update :P
