Star Wars Hells Yeah

So I'm starting a Star Wars RP. What would you guys like to see? What era would you like? Would you prefer us to be a band of soldiers? A few lone Jedi trying to stave off an evil threat? A ship of Pirates/Smugglers making our way through the galaxy? A motley band mixed with all different characters but a common goal? Or, would you like to be a band of Sith (depends on the era, if during the Darth Bane lineage we would need to be a band of Dark Jedi, or apprentices) sowing discord through the galaxy?

The main reason I ask the era is because I'll be creating the setting for this campaign and would need to do some research for it. Soooo give me thoughts.

How about an alternate universe so we don't fuck with canon? (Or what was canon)

Empire wins the Galactic Civil war, they are then able to fight off the ensuing Yuuzhan invasion which the Emperor had known about and made the Empire ready for it. At this point we are one hundred years later and the rebellion has been rebuilding. Then finally an uprising begins on a planet that we choose (preferably one that didn't have much love for the Empire) where the rebellion strikes hard and fast against the Empire using new sophisticated tactics and weaponry that the Empire though was never possible for the rebellion to get a hold of.

No matter what, it's going to be non-canon to the Star Wars Expanded Universe. But, I think I like Treize's idea. We can be following Revan and Malak as they turn their guns on the Republic. Any other thoughts?

Now this doesn't mean our party is going to kill her, or capture her, or hell even win. That all depends on our actions and how well we all RP. But this is how I'd like to establish the Osiran Star Wars Universe (OSWU if you will). If this gets enough attention I will need help pinpointing where we start differing from the regular universe and how these repercussions change things. Namely Vac and anyone willing to spend time on Wookiepedia. =P So give me your thoughts and I'll give you my post tomorrow.
