Opening of the Festival of Osiris
According to the Osiran Holidays and Honors Act, the Festival of Osiris "will be observed by Osirans as a fall festival of remembrance that celebrates veteran members of the Osiran community." And we have plenty to celebrate! Since the Osiris Fraternal Order was established on 10 December 2013, so many members of our community have stepped up for leadership roles, and others have done the more subtle but no less important work of helping to keep the community active as everyday citizens with regular and sustained activity.
It is my pleasure today, as Pharaoh of the Osiris Fraternal Order, to open the Festival of Osiris. I hope all Osirans will enjoy the games and contests that have been prepared in collaboration with James, my nominee for Scribe of Isis (Regional Affairs). On the actual date of the Festival of Osiris, Monday, it will also be my pleasure to celebrate veterans of the Osiran community with some very important and much deserved honors.
In the meantime, let the games begin!
