Anyone else have thoughts on shortening the voting period to three days, with a five day nomination/campaign period?

I'm personally fine with shortening the voting period, as long as the campaign period isn't shortened. The KRO had a very short campaign period and the effect of that was that, except in literally two instances, we didn't have meaningfully contested elections for Pharaoh.

Aye I think it is appropriate to have a longer campaign period.

Three days could still be considered long, frankly. But it walks the line of "excessive" and ensuring everyone gets their vote in, as is only fair, well enough.

I'm more than happy with a voting period of three days, and a five day nomination/campaign period.

Edited the voting period to three days, for a total of eight days for an election period. Same as currently, just with a longer campaign period and shorter voting period.

I move that we vote.

Is there a reason Councilors are voting nay?

This has been discussed twice. On neither occasion did anyone but Venico express opposition to changing from challenge elections to scheduled elections.
