At current no as I don't see the Sekhmet Legion willing to leave Endorsements in each of our territories just so we can keep hold of territories. In the future with the regional officers thing coming but at current no.

Then it is inevitable that if we want colonies,the Governor shares the founding account. And with that, it would be difficult to limit the power of the Governor.

So rather than limiting their power, I think there should be a larger requirement of being Governor and/or being selected as Governor so they can be more responsible and accountable to the colonies community as well as Osiris community.
But the main question is, how? A full Deshret vote on their appointment? Governors Question Time? A Vote of Confidence? So many options, each with advantages and disadvantages.

Perhaps we go with the same process we use for approving Security Council appointees.

Thats not a bad idea. Gaining the majority support of the Deshret could ease the minds of concerned peoples. But there should also be a greater form of removing the Governor.

Colonies and Territories Act wrote:1) Unless convicted of a crime, loss of citizenship, loss of Deshret status, or if the founder nation falls inactive, the role of Governor stays with the citizen who is appointed, or a successor named by the appointed.

By this clause, the Governor can only be dismissed if they fall inactive or if they lose legislative membership or citizenship. It also states they have the right to appoint their successor. I think this ought to be amended to give the Deshret the right to remove the Governor if he loses confidence/ or support among the Deshret. That way they are more liable to the Deshret

I also think that where it says the Governor can appoint his successor ought to be either amended so they go through the same process of confirmation or that it is completely removed.

I don't think it should be that they just loose support, no that's to open to bullshit politics. We should specifically codify rights and wrongs here.

This is pretty much how I would like to see Section Three.

Section 3: Transferring of Governor

1) Unless convicted of a felony, loss of citizenship, loss of Deshret status, or if the founder nation falls inactive, the role of Governor stays with the citizen who is appointed, or a successor named by the appointed.

2) Governors are free to name a successor, as long as the successor is a member of Deshret, a citizen of the Osiris Fraternal Order, does not violate this act, and is approved by the Deshret as provided by Osiran Law.
