I'd suggest a new thread for your draft since yours is not in line with mine at all. =P I won't be pursuing mine any further because my vision of using Colonies as a way to further activity and create vassal states that we can draw members from, the Deshret would like to follow their own course. I'm not amending my views so I'd suggest a new topic for your new draft.

But the amount of power the Governor shall posses is still an issue for some Councillors. How should that matter be resolved?

Well, we could only appoint people we as a region trust to the post of governor, or we could consider more limits on a governor's powers in a colony.

We may just want to go the route of not taking colonies in the first place. They distract from attention on this region and we don't really have any need for colonies.

Hmmm, you do have a point Cormac. No one wants to talk about this issue, and we may not entirely need colonies. But they could have their uses.

But in regard to the Governor's power, I am not sure about that, especially if they share the Founders account. Is there a possible way they could lead the region without sharing the founders account?
