A Formal Petition for Recognition of House Holland

Greetings oh Registrar of Houses. I am Tano Holland, a humble citizen of this region. I come before you today requesting formal recognition of House Holland as a minor house within Osiris. Some general information on our house is as follows:

1) Our great house was founded by The Lady Sovereign Nun, Sister Celeste Holland; Cormac Somerset-Holland; and George/Madjack Holland, a former pharaoh of Osiris if I am not mistaken.
2) Our main region is Albion, where we hold consdierable status as a powerful house with many connections. Some of our prominent members include, but are not limited to: Fleur de Mal Holland , Otto av Riket (aka The Fox), Rah Lapin, and Feniris Cerebella-Saxton (son-in-law of Celeste Holland), and myself.

On the Status of House Holland in Osiris
In response to the claim by Lt Tano Holland The Shaperate of Memories feels it is important that the records of Osiris contains memories of houses where proper, yet must not allow itself to be bogged down with requests for houses who do not deserve recognition, who see standing yet have done nothing worthy of such standing, or outside houses who only seek to further their own aims in the Kingdom.

We recognise that the claimant is a relative of the former Pharaoh, George Holland-Somerset who reigned in the first year of the Kemetic Republic 1KR and into the second year of the Republic 2KR, serving from October 2012 until April 2013.

We further recognise that the claimant is a direct descendant of the original House Founder, however must note that Osiris does not recognise Foreign Houses unless there are extraordinary circumstances, and thus will consider George Holland as the Founder of House Holland in Osiris.

We have considered that if we were to base succession of House Holland upon Pharaoh George Holland's next of kin, his life-partner and bonded, Pharaoh Cormac Somerset-Holland, seventh Pharaoh of the Kemetic Republic (July-September 2013, 2KR) would be considered as heir to the House in lieu of descendants from their union.

We also note that the House Charter rules that Major Houses of Osiris are at their basest level, comprised of those who are current or past Pharaohs of Osiris, with no clause forbidding the inclusion of Kemetic Pharaohs. The Shaperate of Memories agrees that it would consider Houses based on the standing of the former Pharaohs.

We furthermore note that the aforementioned Pharaoh is no longer a citizen of Osiris, and was banjected from the Kingdom by the tenth Pharaoh for continuing to endo-tart past his recall as Vizier of Osiris following improper conduct.

We acknowledge a decision made in regards to House Dreizehn by the Shaperate in a private audience which declared House Dreizehn was a Minor House following their Lord's coup of Osiris in July 2013, 2KR, noting that their noble title was bestowed for other services since to the region, and that he was convicted of Treason under the Great Kenbet of the Kemetic Republic of Osiris.

We officially record that House Holland whilst informal at the time of George Holland's reign, was a Great House of Osiris. However, we note that actions after those events have diminished their standing.

The Shaperate of Memories therefore acknowledges House Holland as a Minor House, without property rights. House Holland may open an estate in an existing Settlement or Great House of Osiris following agreement from the ruling Lord in question, subject to confirmation with the Shaperate of Memories. The Shaperate notes that the Pharaoh of Osiris may elevate or demote House Holland at their pleasure.

Recognising that no known heirs exist from the union of George Holland and Cormac Somerset-Holland, or those that may have not made representation to the Shaperate with a provable, superior claim to the House, we declare that the claimant, Tano Holland is the rightful heir of House Holland.
