Opening Speech and Nominations

Greetings Citizens of Osiris!

Truly I am honored and humbled to be allowed to be a servant to Osiris and its people. When I was first approached about joining OFO back in December, I had no intentions, or ambitions, to become Pharaoh. I will do my best to fulfill the duties with which you have entrusted me.

I'd like to first congratulate my venerable opponent, Joshua Bluteisen. His dedication to Osiris is second to none. I know that had the election turned out in his favor, Osiris would have been in competent hands. It really was a comfort to know this as the election began.

I'd like to honor my predecessor, Lord Ravenclaw, whose record in Osiris is without equal. Thank you, Raven, for your service to Osiris, and I wish you well in your absence. Should you desire to return, there will always be a place for you in Osiris. I mean that.

My goal is to provide you with the best service possible, and to leave no doubt in your mind that you are home.

Osiris is your home.

If there is anything I can do for you, or you feel you can offer Osiris, then please let me know.

On to my nominations, which will be presented to the Deshret for confirmation.

As a matter of precedent, I will be nominating all scribes, even if they are continuing from a previous term. I think it's important that this be done. In the mean time, all current scribes will retain their duties until such a time that my nominations are confirmed.

For Vizier, I present to you Cormac. He's been around in Osiris for a long time, and provides an invaluable resource to me, a newcomer to the GCR world. Cormac and I have been friends for a while now, and there are few people I trust more to this position. He's agreed to do this for me, and for that I am grateful.

For Integration, I present to you Alexa. He's recently become a good friend to me and has many great ideas on how to get people in the door and then maintain our citizenship roster.

For FA, I present Cormac. He will take on this role in addition to being Vizier. Cormac has many connections in the NationStates World, and is experienced in FA matters. He is currently the Outside World Manager for the Brotherhood of Malice, so this is a role with which he is comfortable and competent.

For Security, I present NES. NES is known for his work in the field and he will continue to make sure that Osiris is protected from those who would seek to disrupt our way of life.

For WA, I present Treize Dreizehn. He is the most prolific author in the game today. His smarts in this field are unparallelled and I look forward to what new minds he will mold and inspire.

For Culture, I present Rach. She has been one of the consistant sources of activity in Balder, and she has agreed to inspire similar activity here in Osiris.

For Military, I present Joshua Bluteisen. He's got a lot of experience in the militaries of Osiris, both present and past. He has a desire to return to the field, and I know he'll be able to bring the Sekhmet Legion to glory.

For Justice, I present Abacathea. He's got a mind for law, and is dedicated to Osiris, as is evidenced by his creation of Ra. I have complete faith in him as the best candidate for this job.


For the Atef, my first nomination will be Treize Dreizehn. I've come to trust him fully as a solid advisor. While this may be seen as controversial, he's put in more work to Osiris than almost everyone else since the inception of the OFO.

My second nomination will be Datford_Zyvetskistaahn. I think he is a valuable asset to Osiris and will help keep the region secure.

I have a few other thoughs on this matter, but shall need to speak to others to confirm their interest in the position.



In the upcoming weeks, several celebrations shall occur. First, we'd like to celebrate with Balder and in quick succession with Europeia, in regards to our recently signed treaties. These two regions are invaluable friends and we should celebrate that fact whenever possible. I'll look for my cabinet to help plan and arrange these festivities.
