This thread is necessary due to the fact that the nomination thread has closed.

I would like to start this by thanking Nox, A.K.A The Brimstone Angel for the nomination and Andrew for the second. I am flattered, and just a bit surprised, that you think that I would make a good leader of our region. However, I fear that in this respect I must disappoint you. I decline the nomination for Pharaoh. I would like to explain my rationale for this decision. The first reason for this decision is that I feel that there are currently individuals active in Osiris who can better serve the region in the position of Pharaoh. I refer, of course, to the newly elected Pharaoh Severisen, to whom I wish the best of luck in restoring regional activity and keeping the Fraternal Order safe from those who would seek to harm it. The second reason for my decision is that I have a busy schedule currently in real life, which would detract from my ability to serve as a completely effective Pharaoh to this region. Instead, I will continue to serve Osiris as a Councillor of the Deshret, and whatever other office I may be called upon to serve. Perhaps one day I will run for the office of Pharaoh, but for now I will not. Ladies and Gentlemen of Osiris, thank you for your time.
