I'm not terribly eloquent, or good at the long, long topics that campaigns tend to entail, so I'm not going to post anything like that.

I decided that I'm just going to give a summary of myself, and of what I want to do.

I joined NationStates in January of 2013, solely because I was harassed by a friend of mine (you all know who) to create a nation and join the community he was a part of; Osiris.

I lurked on the IRC for awhile after gaining citizenship initially, and in general chilled with everybody like we all do on the IRC.

Eventually I ended up joining the Medjai Guard (which, at the time, was woefully inactive) and sometime after that, ran for (and won) a spot on the Seventh Sepatarchy...then realized I suck at legislation related things.

I ended up joining the Legion after the dissolution of the Medjai Guard and was one of the more frequent updaters for major, mostly spurred on by Cormac and Bob Moran; they got me addicted to the R/D game.

Then, well, ended up as Vizier somehow. Nothing terribly interesting there.

I want to repeal and replace the House Charter Act, and simplify it. Ideally, an open and organic system would work better than the rigid system we have in place at the moment.
I want to expand our relations with other regions; be it through cultural festivals, mutual recognition, or hell, just raiding together. This would expand and solidify our cultural and regional identity, as well as our legitimacy as a proper democracy.
Communities need constant expansion to stay alive; we need to focus on recruitment. I'm still trying to think of ideas, but think that a tiered commendation based upon recruitment, where applicants could list who referred them, could help a bit.

So, there it is; I suck at this stuff, and am open to any questions y'all might ask. Hail mudkip Osiris!

There's no simple way to increase forum activity, and it requires a group effort. I've been staff on various communities on and off for years (RuneScape related, mostly) and there is one thing that always rings true; it takes everybody working hard to improve a community and keep it alive.

So, what can we do? We can work make ourselves known; raid, promote culture, partake in said culture, and encourage people to recruit like crazy!

I am going to state that I think you have a refreshing view to the problems that Osiris faces, and it was one of the main reasons why I asked you to be my Vizier.

The fact that you have shown me consistently over your time in Osiris that you are a skilled administrator with a knowledge for the problems a community faces, and I've seen from your work with the Runescape clan, Subsistence that you are well aware and able to combat the perils of inactivity in a community suggests to me that I was correct in choosing you as my Vizier.

You have provided me with sound advice over the last year, and your support at crucial and difficult times in the region was peerless, and I could not put words to say how much appreciate it if I tried.

I think that you are the only person in Osiris that I would trust to lead it, besides perhaps, Venico, and I hope that the Councillors of the Deshret actively consider whether your experience in this area would be beneficial for Osiris and whether they could work with you as Pharaoh.

Referrals, telegrams, and the like. We have to improve the region as a whole and work our butts off to increase our citizenry by making Osiris a more attractive region to join.

No, RuneScape related sites and communities.

I am a senior administrator and the director of technology for Clan Subsistence, was a global moderator for RuneScape Rush when it still existed, and was the owner of the United Freedom Fighters of RuneScape forum for parts of 2009, most of 2010, until the clan died in 2011 and it was no longer economical for me to have webhosting.
