Three Months, Feedback, a Survey and Thoughts
Greetings Residents of Osiris!

The last three months have been an interesting for Osiris, and I've been honoured to spend as your Pharaoh. There has been good times, bad times, fun times, sad times, and even insane times, which can be associated to the crazy bunch of people we have as part of the community of the region.

More recently we saw the ByteCoin saga, the death of the husband of Nebkheperure, and the parades from the Begley Commonwealth and the wondrous magic from Siberian Khatru brightening our regional message board and making our region all the better for the part they played in fostering a greater sense of community amongst our own people.

Although the ByteCoin event was geared towards national participation, we saw NationStates work themselves into a capitalist fury buying and selling coins whilst people carried out Zombie-re-enactments across Osiris, and got blasted with water cannons after they attempted to scale public buildings in the capital city of Memphis shouting for brains.

We've seen changes to the regional constitution, which remove the activity requirements on being a member of the Deshret - you may now apply freely to our legislative body without being part of the executive, although you must be a citizen (naturally).

In Foreign Affairs news, I have appointed Zaolat, the first Pharaoh of Osiris as the Minister of Foreign Affairs to manage our foreign affairs and relations. In the same vein, I have appointed Cormac A Stark as Minister of Justice/Attorney General. I am confident that they will serve this region as they always have, faithfully and fastidiously.

I have had the great honour recently of working with President Anumia of Europeia, Prime Minister Josh Sebastian of The Land of Kings and Emperors and King North East Somerset of Balder at various times in working to ensure Osiran security as well as foster iron clad friendships and bonds between us and regions who have helped us at times when we have sorely needed it. Without the aid of the regions above, plus a few others, it is debatable whether Osiris would be here today and I am very happy to be able to tell you that a lot has been achieved in strengthening our foreign affairs network and connections over the last few months.

Culturally, we've seen the start of a long-term project centred on Houses, families and introducing a new aspect to the region. Progress will be slow as this is still being set up, but it is there and we are slowly working on it. I plan to continue on this over the next three months and hope, that future Pharaohs will do the same.

I believe that it is important to regularly ask the residents of regions for their views on how I, as Delegate have performed. Not just myself in this case, but the Government, the region itself and the community are all things which need to be constantly flexible and open to change.

There has been for the last month a growing sense of sleepiness in the region, and that has concerned me. Although I am happy to note that drama is at its lowest amount in months although I would like to see more people getting involved and providing more ideas to the community.

To which, I would like to appeal to those of you reading this who have not joined the forum. There are 3604 recipients of this telegram, and we have 160 forum members. Of those, I'd say we have less than 70 citizens, with the rest being either foreign dignitaries or normal members who are not involved with the region or have not applied for citizenship.

Come and join our forum. Apply for citizenship and start learning more about the region you live in and take a chance at joining the regional community: There is more to NationStates than answering issues every day, and it gets boring fast, we've all been there. Take a chance and visit us: https://osiris.valthost.com/index.php - I'm on the forum as Lord Ravenclaw - message me if you need anything.

Finally, in the spirit of seeking feedback from the region, I would like to invite you to take part in a short survey. It can be found here: http://w11.zetaboards.com/OFO/pages/survey/

If you would prefer an actual link to the document, as it uses GoogleDrive, then you can find it here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1g4absK ... c/viewform

Once again, thank you for letting me serve as your delegate for the last three months, and I hope that I'll be able to continue doing so for three more months should the Deshret wish it.

Yours,

Joshua Ravenclaw

Thank you for this survey, which will hopefully get more of those sleepy nations in the forum, and thank you for your services to the region.

Edit: I like how you're able to see everyone's answer. They have been quite lackluster so far :P (the comments)

Yes very interesting responses, surprised just how single-minded and clear we are as a region on many of these issues.

I very much doubt many nations on NS will bother filling in such a long survey though - realistically I expect nearly all responses will be from Forum members.
