
☥ THE KEMETIC ORDER ☥
- INTRODUCTION
The Kemetic Order is old in its existence, originally founded in early 2012 as a "secret society" of NationStates. Established by two-real life Kemetic (proper word for the Ancient Egyptian Religion) fanatics and friends Aden Protectorate and North-East Berma whom would eventually split and have the order disbanded in late 2013. The Kemetic Order has now been re-established for all the Kemetic lovers/fanatics in Osiris, so that we may create a community over our passion, that being the Ancient Egyptian religion, way of life and culture. The Osiris branch of the Kemetic Order, is now accepting new members, whether Kemetic Fanatics or inquirers into the ways of Ancient Egypt into its halls.
DOCTORATES
The Kemetic Order offers Doctorates for those interested in certain areas of Ancient Egyptian, this involves study under a master or "Regent" of the Kemetic Order. Those who wish to study for a Doctor or Ma'atkare and must be a full member of the Kemetic Order. Ma'atkharates can only be achieved by a month of study under a Regent of the Order who shall be assigned to a particular branch of study, after a month of study a test shall be administered by the Grand Regent. Depending on the score on the test the student shall be given a First, Second or Third Degree. The Kemetic Order offers the following Ma'atkarates:
Osirology
-Ma'atkare of the First Degree in Osirology : A student who has achieved maximum proficiency in Osirology, the study of the Kemetic Afterlife and Burial Practices
-Ma'atkare of the Second Degree in Osirology: A student who has achieved average proficiency in Osirology
-Ma'atkare of the Third Degree in Osirology: A student who has achieved the minimal requirements for a Ma'atkarate in Osirology
Serekhology
-Ma'atkare of the First Degree in Serekhology: A student who has achieved maximum proficiency in Serekhology, the study of the Kemetic Pantheon
-Ma'atkhare of the Second Degree in Serekhology: A student who has achieved average proficiency in Serekhology
-Ma'atkhare of the Third Degree in Serekhology: A student who has completed the minimal requirements for a Ma'atkharate in Serekhology
Nebtyology
-Ma'atkhare of the First Degree in Nebtyology: A student who has achieved the maximum proficiency in Nebtyology, the study of Ancient Egyptian Art
-Ma'atkhare of the Second Degree in Nebtyology: A student who has achieved average proficiency in Nebtyology
-Ma'atkhare of the Third Degree in Nebtyology: A student who has completed the minimal requirements for a Ma'atkharate in Nebtyology
Ankhology
-Ma'atkhare of the First Degree in Ankhology: A student who has achieved the maximum proficiency in Ankhology, the study of Ancient Egyptian daily life
-Ma'atkhare of the Second Degree in Ankhology: A student who has achieved average proficiency in Ankhology
-Ma'atkhare of the Third Degree in Ankhology: A student who has completed the minimal requirements for a Ma'atkharate in Ankhology

INNTERNAL GOVERNANCE
The internal governorship of the Kemetic Order shall be based upon the following. There shall be a Regency Council to administer the Order and shall be composed of 5 Regents. Four shall be elected every six months. Any member of the Kemetic Order, with a Ma'atkharate in the Second or First Degree in any area of study, may stand as a member of the Kemetic Order. The head of the Regency Council shall be selected by the Regency Council from an existing pool of Ma'atkharates of the First Degree in any area of study.
