I am speaking in this post as defense counsel for Treize Dreizehn.
My client has not committed any such defamation, and the plaintiffs refusal to post any evidence, and indeed commitment to "fake evidence just to prove it" is a clear and deliberate slap at the justice system of Osiris.It is my duty to inform you that Cameron Romefeller has brought charges of defamation against Pharaoh Joshua Ravenclaw and Scribe of Ma'at Treize Dreizehn.
These charges are obviously baseless and unfounded, as indicated by the plaintiffs inability to find even a shred of actual evidence to support them.
At no point did my client personally publish any claims against Cameron Romefeller's character. The standard for defamation in this region is, however, quite stringent:
My client's entire involvement in any sort of public comment was to provide logs to the executive detailing a security threat. My client was not the one who published the charges, nor has he made any public claims on the character of Cameron Romefeller. And even if he had, such claims, being based on the logs at the root of this matter, would be neither unsubstantiated nor imaginary.(a) "Defamation" is defined as any attempt to publicly attack the character of a citizen or foreign guest of the Osiris Fraternal Order with unsubstantiated or imaginary claims, with the malicious intent to cause serious damage to the reputation of that individual.
I would like to ask the court to consider any faked evidence as defamation, and request that the Scribe of Seshat react accordingly.
