Hey guys, I'm new in this region, but I notice a lot of familiar faces, from other regions I've been. For those who don't know me, hello. I usually go by 346 for short, or sometimes Max, since the irc won't let me have nick made up only of numbers.

I'm a pretty big fan of Final Fantasy as well. I even went back and played the really old games that were before my time. I could go on for hours talking about FF.

I'm currently in the middle of playthroughs of FFVIII and FFIX and I'm trying to complete them both before FFX and X-2 are re-released, as I've pre-ordered them.

It must be interesting playing through both of those at the same time. VIII is one of the must unusual games in the series both story wise and in terms of game mechanics with the junctions system, while IX is pretty much the archetypal final fantasy, or at least thats how it seems to me. There's a pretty huge difference between those 2.

Also what would you say is your favorite game in the series?

My favourite, would probably be IX, as it was the first game that I ever played to completion (I was nine when it came out) and it has stuck in my head since that point.

I also enjoyed IV and XII. I've enjoyed XIV:ARR with the time I spent on it, during the closed beta and for a few months afterwards.

If I had to pick my favorite it would be VII, and pretty much for the same reason as you picked IX, it was the first game I played to the end, and it left a huge impact. Other ones I like a lot are VI, IX and IV.

Anyway great having a chat with you. I'm always willing to talk about Final Fantasy so feel free to start a conversation with me anytime.
