Statement of Recognition of the Osiris Fraternal Order Over the past few months, the Government of the North Pacific (“the Government”) has been closely following the developments in Osiris. The Government now wishes to acknowledge that the Osiris Fraternal Order (“the Order”) has served as an effective stabilising force in a region that has long been plagued with internal turmoil and factionalism.
This has become evident by a number of events. The Order have been successful in its stated primary objective of removing internal elements that had been disruptive towards constructive governance from the region. The Order proceeded to fulfil commitments it had undertaken, by: 1) providing the region with a constitutional document embracing the principles of justice and democracy; 2) holding fair elections under this new document; and finally 3) overseeing the peaceful transition of power from Venico to the winner of the elections, Lord Ravenclaw.
Perhaps more importantly, the Order has successfully fostered a regional climate of cooperation and transparency, in stark contrast with the previously prevalent secretive and often subversive politics. Under the Order, Osiris has become a prosperous and secure community, full of opportunities for its members.
These developments have alleviated the original concerns the Government held regarding the stability of the Order and the possibility of a full-blown civil war, as well as possible threats to Osiran sovereignty arising from the security arrangement with the Brotherhood of Malice. Consequently, the Government, long committed to supporting stability and independent native rule in Game-Created Regions, has now decided to embrace this Osiran endeavor.
To this effect, we have already ordered the North Pacific Army to deploy in Osiris in order to support Lord Ravenclaw in the Delegacy transition. We now announce that we recognize the Osiris Fraternal Order, currently led by the recently elected Delegate Lord Ravenclaw, as the only legitimate government of Osiris. Furthermore, the Government will proceed to reopen formal diplomatic relations with Osiris, by acknowledging, granting, and reciprocating the recent request by the Osiris Fraternal Order diplomatic envoy for an embassy exchange. The Osiris embassy on our regional forum will be converted to reflect the change in government from the Kemetic Republic of Osiris to the Osiris Fraternal Order, and a request for an embassy for the North Pacific on the Osiris Fraternal Order forums will be placed.
We wish the people of Osiris and their government the best of luck in continuing advancing their region.
