You used to be quite close to the Empire, or at the very least sympathetic to their interests. What has changed? Furthermore, when did you decide to 'decouple' from them?

I remember an old bill called the Colonies Act, or some such, proposed by Venico to allow us to annex regions in our name. I think it will soon be time for us to bring it before the Deshret and seek to have it passed. I can think of a few ways that the Legion can use that bill to promote the military on the greater stage.

I also think that it would be worth looking at Albion, TNI and Balder - our treaty allies (even if TNI's treaty has not yet passed the Deshret), for joint deployments, various exercises and competitions - who can hold a region longest, that sort of thing (although we'll probably lose if all of the UIAF deploy but there's no harm in having fun).

I'm also happy for Osiris to support our various gameplay partners on deployments and am willing to listen to any requests from our esteemed military commanders, or citizens who think that the Legion would be useful in certain locations.

The first can be said of anyone who hoped to survive in old Osiran government for more than a week. Unfortunately, they were knowledgeable and held a lot of influence/power in the region - sometimes you do not have very many choices in what you can do.

As for when I decided to turn on them and support Venico... that's an interesting question. It was a shock when I got a message from Ygfbv at 6am in the morning (waking me up in the process!) that the Malice flag was flying over Osiris and after a discussion with Venico where I smacked him with Cormac's fraternity paddle for not telling me about this in advance, I decided to side with him. I was not pleased at how the situation with Asta had went, and I had been feeling increasingly angry at several members of Empire since I'd heard rumours from people suggesting that a member of Empire had been questioning my mental health to them following July.

On that note, July was a long time ago. It's done with. I have no grudges against anyone involved.

If I could convince her to return, I would. But she has stated before that she is done with this region, and rightly so because of what happened.

Some questions I'm going to ask all candidates (though each may be slightly modified depending on the circumstances):

1. Which of the following executive areas do you see as most important in the coming term: Integration, Culture, Foreign Affairs, Military Affairs, World Assembly Affairs, Justice, or Security? You can name more than one if you see more than one as important, but I personally would like to see you limit your answer to no more than three so we'll have some idea of where the focus will be next term under your administration.

2. If you could accomplish one major goal next term, what would that be and why?

3. You've already stated that you would continue to work with the regions that have been supporting the OFO since December 10, which I applaud. What direction do you have in mind for the Sekhmet Legion overall, though?

4. Section 2.10 of the States Code gives the Pharaoh the power to appoint Guardians of the Atef with the approval of the Deshret. What size do you envision the Atef being, and what kind of criteria would you be looking for in a Guardian? Will you be looking for short-term service (i.e., just over the course of your term), now that this is possible thanks to influence decay, or more long-term service across multiple terms?

5. The Vizier has certain constitutionally and legally defined roles -- second most endorsements, acting Pharaoh in your absence, succession if you resign, activity certification for Deshret membership. Do you and Georgie have additional responsibilities in mind for the Vizier during your term and, if so, what?

6. Section 2.6 of the State Code gives the Pharaoh the power to veto legislation passed by the Deshret. Under what circumstances would you exercise this power of veto?

7. Section 2.8 of the State Code gives the Pharaoh the power to pardon or commute the sentence of an individual convicted of crimes against Osiris, with the approval of the Deshret. Under what circumstances, if any, would you exercise this power?

8. There is nothing in the State Code that prevents the Pharaoh from appointing himself or his Vizier as a Scribe. Are you planning to appoint yourself or your Vizier as a Scribe of any department, and if so, which one(s) and why?

9. Hypothetical scenario: Multiple members of The Empire and their supporters (assuming they have any) have planted WA sleepers in the region at or near the endorsement cap. They have begun tarting and running unendo campaigns against you and your Vizier, and you don't have the influence to banject them all. You don't yet have the Atef in place, or at least most of them are not yet high influence. What do you do?

10. Will you pledge not to unban Biyah, Dalimbar, Neo Kervoskia, Minineenee, Sentimental Journey, and Tim Stark while you are in the Delegacy, nor to allow the former four to maintain any nation at all in Osiris or apply for citizenship or diplomatic status on this forum?

Thank you in advance for your answers. I may have follow-up or additional questions. Best of luck in your campaign!

[Q1] My personal focus would be integration, culture and security. Normally I would include Foreign Affairs in there, but I am not personally concerned with our foreign policies at the moment and feel everything is proceeding well and will continue to do so.

I do think however, that it is important that we continue working with our internal affairs - namely Integration, to encourage more residents of Osiris to become part of this community - it'll give us greater diversity in our community, and allow more manpower for various other initiatives, such as roleplaying, military deployments, diplomatic assignments and others.

At the same time, Culture has been progressing nicely, and I'm thrilled to see so many active roleplays (and can't remember a time in old Osiris where this was the case). I'm very pleased to see the progress being made on that front and definitely feel that if we keep working at it then it'll become an strong cornerstone of our new order.

It's all well and good to bring people into the community, but we need something to keep them here. Something to interest them, and for that reason, I'll be focusing on our Culture department working with those who are skilled in this area to keep things fresh, active and engaging for everyone.

But as we all know, we can use all the words we want but if we're not prepared to meet security threats head on, then we have already lost. Security for Osiris is a vital area of attention for us now - we have a powerful Military, competent Commanders, skilled Diplomats, and loyal Citizens, but we do not yet have a proper Security Council for Osiris which means that we need to be ever vigilant in enforcing endorsement caps and that includes of being wary of who we trust to safeguard our region from those who would seek to do us harm.

Thus in the next term I will be working with NES, our Scribe of Security and Intelligence in ensuring that Osiris is safe from external threats whilst ensuring that any internal threats are dealt with in order to prevent Osiris losing all of the progress it has made in the last month. I should also note that I do not plan to make any changes to the cabinet unless members of the cabinet feel that they cannot hold their role or if members cannot dedicate the time necessary for it.

[Q2] The one major goal for my term? See a functioning Atef/Security Council. I'd also like to see some tools to aid our regional security such as pages for endorsement levels, history and something to make endo-tarting easier, which is something the Scribe of Security, the Admin team and I can discuss. Another goal could be seeing a legal code pass the Deshret, but Security is my foremost concern for the moment.

[Q3] The Legion needs to gain a name for itself, and to do this we need to stay active and prominent. We also need to be competitive - to actually wake the defenders up, and give them something to get out of bed for in the morning. Naturally, we will continue to work with our various gameplay partners and I hope that in the coming months we'll have some very nice, shiny colonies and territories that we can build up in our name. Going from an independent region with a barely active military to an all encompassing region with a strong military and overseas territories is the ultimate expression of how far Osiris has come in such a short time.

[Q4] I would very much like to see some permanent members of the Security Council, with perhaps three or four rotating members on a bi-monthly basis. In order for me to consider anyone for the Atef, they have to have a solid record of loyal service to the region, and be willing to be WA Immobile for a set period - either two months or permanently. That does mean though that I'll have to find people who would be willing to be permanent guardians of Osiris, a role that I anticipate that I'll take up in the future given my long history of having a WA in Osiris.

With the weakened pool of influence, now is going to be a vital time for gaining influence, as I don't really have very many options for members of the Atef, although I'm grateful Cormac, that you have said you're willing to remain in Osiris with your WA for a little while longer to ensure that we can get the Atef up to stable levels.

[Q5] George and I have discussed this matter and he would like to take more of an interest and role in Foreign Affairs, which I am happy with as my own time to focus on it will be diminishing if I am elected Pharaoh. I also expect George to play a key role in any Cultural events that we hold during the next term - he has a considerable amount of experience and as many of us know, he's a very... skilled writer, leaving the way right open for interesting events down the line.

[Q6] Exceptional circumstances. If a flaw has been pointed out in the legislation that is at vote which could negatively impact our constitution, security, alliances, or military, then upon consulting with the Hedjet and Keeper of the Deshret, I would decide whether it was necessary to veto. I'd rather veto a bad law then have to deal with problems arising from people exploiting it if it passed.

[Q7] I cannot see myself using it. People who are convicted by the Pschent for violating our laws will be convicted for a reason. It is possible that there could have been exceptional circumstances but I would not Pardon someone unless there was evidence of a mistrial or corruption. I'd be wary of undermining the Pschent as an institution, as well as undermining the regional laws and it's because of that, I'd be unlikely to use the Pardon.

[Q8] I plan to remain in Foreign Affairs until I've finished with the structure and set up of the department. Once I've finished the vital aspects to flesh the department out and get it running, I will be fine with entrusting the important role to someone else. I expect that George will be serving in both the Priesthoods of Ptah and Horus, although at this time I don't have any plans to change the cabinet.

[Q9] My options would be limited, and I'd have to either kick those who were endorsing their agent, or ban those that were closest to me. I would also have to request reinforcements from both our military and our allies, such as the UIAF in order to ensure that I am out of their reach until we can force them out of Osiris.

[Q10] Yes, I will. That is the easiest question out of the lot Cormac.

To re-affirm what Raven has said, never will I unban Biyah, Dali, Nee or NK.
