So I've had this rolling around in my head all day: Would it be worth it for us as a legislature to have some basic guidelines for decorum in the chambers?
I know a lot of decorum rules are pure gibberish, but I think some of it could be helpful in the area of focusing our attentions on the real issues, not to mention ensuring that when we're really pissed off we still call each other "the honored councilor" and such.
So anyway, before I create a draft of guidelines(and it would be guidelines, rather than "rules"), I thought I'd get some thoughts on what it should include, or if we should bother. The floor is yours.

Is something like this really needed though? I'm generally against legislating for things unless they are clearly necessary.

Cere has the right idea about.
I feel that legislating for the sake of legislating is pointless., but if you wanted an internal code of conduct for the Deshret, I would be willing to hear what you think before making a decision.

This might be something to focus on down the road, but right now why don't we spend our time really refining the State Code? Or something a bit more foundational and functional than this?
