We, the Osiris Fraternal Order and the Queendom of Sparkalia, henceforth referred to as "the signatories," forge this covenant to formalize our commitment to mutually beneficial cooperation for the security, prosperity, and military advancement of our regions.
Article I: Military Commitments
Article II: Intelligence Commitments
- (1) The signatories will not engage in or support military hostilities against each other's regions or territories.
- (2) At the request of a signatory and to the extent capable, the other signatory will provide defensive military assistance against aggression by foreign forces and will provide military support during times of regional emergency or Delegate transition.
- (3) At the request of a signatory and as consistent with the other signatory's laws, policies, and military availability, the other signatory will provide support for military operations beyond defense or support of the signatory region.
Article III: Diplomatic Commitments
- (1) The signatories will not engage in any form of espionage, infiltration, or subversion against each other, or participate in any such endeavors undertaken by a third party.
- (2) A signatory will provide information to the other signatory when such information is relevant to the security of the other signatory, unless the signatory in possession of such information reasonably believes that providing such information may violate applicable laws, or the terms of use of NationStates or any other offsite medium used by the signatories.
Article IV: Procedures
- (1) The Osiris Fraternal Order will recognize and support the Queendom of Sparkalia, as ruled by the High Queen and her designated successors, as the only legitimate government of Sparkalia, including any colonies or territories under their sovereignty.
- (2) The Queendom of Sparkalia will recognize and support the Osiris Fraternal Order as ruled by the Pharaoh and his designated successors, as the only legitimate government of Osiris, including any colonies or territories under their sovereignty.
- (3) The signatories will maintain in-game embassies with each other.
- (4) The signatories will endeavor to regularly cooperate in hosting, organizing, and participating in interregional activities.
- (1) The Covenant of Witches and Pharaohs shall take effect upon ratification of both signatories by the processes of their legitimate authorities.
- (2) For any amendment to take effect, it must be passed via the legal apparatus of both signatories.
- (3) Either signatory may withdraw from the alliance established by the Covenant after repealing it according to the procedures of their legitimate authorities, and after notifying the other signatory via official communication medium(s) that the alliance has been terminated.
