The highest rank of TBH that one can be promoted to is General. A General is someone who has invested immense time and effort into the region to make it better. The impact they have on our community cannot be understated. At home, they are charged with handling everything from raid policy to working out operation details. Abroad, they forge relations with our allies and strike fear into our enemies.Their names are usually recognised across the nationstates universe as one of our key leaders. Due to their legacy, Generals will remain roled and respected as such, even after retirement from active service,
Recently, one of our well known Hawks has joined the list of Generals. This is no other than our very own Miravana! Mira had spent time in the TBH discord in his early days as a defender and had enjoyed interacting with us evilly cute raiders. After he was booted from the server, he decided to moonlight as “Imperial Pittsburgh”, lured in to see the inner workings of the dark side before fully converting. After being promoted to Sergeant, he took a short 3 months break from August to December of 2020, before returning. Miravana led TBH through the slow days of 2021, fighting the defender hegemony that year. In 2022, the tides had turned, and raiderdom as a whole saw 11 straight months of major operation victories. Today, we take the chance to ask Miravana some questions about his time in TBH

So, welcome General Mira to the torture chambers! Before we officially get rolling on the meat of what we're here for, how are you doing? How's your morning so far?
My morning is absolutely lovely! I’m currently at a top secret location (the beach) to protect myself from those who would steal my general rank (trip with partner.) How is yours?
It's all fun and games here in the fires I totally didn't start, thank you for asking!
Now, you did just make General rank, how long have you been in TBH?
I’ve been in TBH for… wow almost three years. April 2020.. It’s crazy how the time flies!
Dang yeah that's a crazy long time lol! What brought you to TBH?
Honestly it was a number of things. I had spent a long time in and out of defending and I just kinda figured I needed a change. I joined TBH looking for that change, but I think the reason I stayed so long is because of the flexibility and creativity raising brings you in relation to the more rigid structure of life as a defender living update to update.
There have been some outstanding raids and raid reports that I've enjoyed reading for sure. Where did you draw inspiration from for the various things you've done?
I think it really varies. For the big operations I’ve done like A Liberal Haven and The Mystical Council and some of the record breaking runs with Lily, I think a lot of the energy came from doing something legendary. I’ve always wanted to make a name for myself in raiding and those raids are what I still consider to be my biggest achievements.
As far casual tagging and the reports that go with it, I think the biggest motivation is just enjoying time with the community. Tags raids to me are just about having fun with friends, which is why I like to mess around on the tags I lead, and oftentimes I try to make my reports based off the memes that are told during the raid, or that are going around the nest at the time.
Definitely. What were some of your favorite memes that you've experienced in your time in TBH?
As far as TBH memes go, Zhdun and Carl are all time highs as two of our favorite mascots, but the current anime vs non-anime war is also very fun. I think the weebs hold the upper hand at the moment but a lot of prominent anti-weebs are moving up the ranks ready to make a power grab!
Where do you side?
You know I like to remain as neutral as possible, and think both sides have valid arguments (go weebs)

So, you've been here 3 years. You've seen the community grow and change, people come and go, events happen. What are your thoughts on TBH's community and its future?
I’ve seen TBH at its most and least active, and I can confidently say that this region isn’t going anywhere. Even if there are times in the future when the region isn’t as active, I know this community will always find a way to bounce back. It just has that certain appeal to it that you have to experience firsthand to truly understand, I think that’s what I like so much about the region.
Anything else you would want us to know that you haven't gotten to say yet?
Just that I’m super excited to see what happens next in TBH, and absolutely ecstatic to do it as the newest general!
