Dragon Emperor Reaches 500 Endorsements! TWP successfully finished the March to 500 campaign to get our delegate, Bran Astor, past half a thousand endorsements on January 16, 2020. Bran recognized Teralyon as the 500th endorser and raised the cap on endorsements for nations endorsing the delegate to 180, from a previous cap of 165. The March to 600 is keeping up the strong pace heading into February, with Bran having received over 60 new endorsements in the last three weeks.
GCRs in Space!
Lazarus, Osiris, and the West Pacific held a joint festival “aboard” the Interregional Space Server on Discord from January 16th to 19th. Over 60 nations ended up participating in OWL-20. From the wacky constellation-designing contest and the Count to Infinity (zooming past a count of 1,000 before the end of the festival) to the several rounds of Battleship and space-themed lectures, every moment was a lot of fun. It was great to see OWL-20 bring together nations from all three regions in a celebration of our friendship!University of the West Pacific The Ministry of Education was reorganized into UTWP this month, which is an internship program for nations hoping to get more involved in the region to get to learn about how our ministries operate. With the help and oversight of experienced TWPers, students get two weeks of instruction in TWPAF and the Ministries of the World Assembly & Recruitment, Cultural Affairs, and Foreign Affairs through hands-on experience with the real duties of ministry work.
Looking Ahead Elections: The nomination and election process for certain government positions will start in mid-February.
Festival of the Three Perfections: The first Festival of the Three Perfections was held last year to celebrate the arrival of TWP’s new Imperial Chinese theme. The festival of art, poetry, and writing will be held again this February.
