Recall Voting Rights Amendment now at vote. Voting will conclude at 05:15 AM EST on Tuesday 28th January.

This is an amendment to the Scroll of Horus and as such it will require a two-thirds vote to pass the Council of Scribes.
Citizens may vote Aye, Nay or Abstain.

A reminder that Guardians are not eligible to vote in the Council of Scribes on constitutional amendments, as Guardians vote on such amendments separately in the Council of Guardians.

The Recall Voting Rights Amendment
(1)Article V, Section (2) of the Scroll of Horus shall be amended as follows:

(2) The Pharaoh will have no vote in the Council of Scribes, and the Acting Pharaoh will have no vote in the Council of Scribes for the duration of their service as Acting Pharaoh. A Guardian will have no vote on their own removal from officeNo individual holding an re-callable appointed position, as defined by Article VIII of this constitution, may vote on their own recall from office, and the Heir Apparent and Guardians will have no vote on amendments to this constitution.

On Tuesday 28th January at 05:15 AM EST, the Council of Scribes vote to Pass, by a vote of 6-0-0, The Recall Voting Rights Amendment. As it is a constitutional amendment a vote by the Council of Guardians is required before the Pharaoh can be asked to give their assent.
