Greater People, Greater Osiris

Hi everyone!

I'm afraid I don't have much type to type this, as I'll be leaving on a trip in a few days and I'll be gone for about a week. Thank you for tuning in and reading this, those of you checking it out.

My previous campaign that I won on (located here) still consists of my current views for Osiris. I still wish to get people involved as much as we can, and as much as they are willing to. Everyone has a place in Osiris, that's what is great about us. It is just a matter of meeting both ways. The government can only do so much to try to get people involved, they have to be met halfway by those willing to help.

During my previous term, we accomplished a number of things, which is something that Osiris hasn't seen in a full Chief Vizier term in a while. These things included:

Community Affairs: Pharaoh's Day Festival, a movie night, a flag contest, and a much needed citizenship audit.

Foreign Affairs: Updating the ambassador list, constructing a GCR Sovereignty Accords Festival, and keeping healthy relations with our allies.

Military: Appointment of a new Marshal General, increased number of tag raids, and a military treaty in the works.

WA Affairs: Endorsement swap dispatch that led to an increase in the Pharaoh's endorsements, and voting on resolutions as a region on and offsite.

While there are still a lot of things in the works now that will be continued during my next term if I am elected, this is a swell list of accomplishments for this term. Remember when voting for Chief Vizier that he/she will be your Head of Government. Electing a trustworthy and active Chief Vizier is vital to the survival of Osiris.

A couple weeks ago, I did a shakeup of my Vizier staff. Some were kept on the Council, others removed, and others added. When I am elected, this will be a regular occurrence to ensure that I have an active staff. Those that are appointed that don't do their job, do not have a place on my Council. Once again, those that express interest in serving, will be given a chance. Everyone is capable of doing something here, it's just a matter of are they willing to do it? Are they willing to accept failure and defeat when such a thing transpires? Are they willing to learn from mistakes in order to ensure the proper functionality of Osiris? Are they willing to be committed and not give up?

Anyone that answers yes to all of those questions are qualified to serve on my cabinet. Those are not only the type of people that I want, but the type of people that Osiris needs. My campaign slogan last term was "A Sygnificantly Greater Osiris." During my term, I learned something important. Osiris is already great. It always has been. I can't make it greater. I wish I could, I really do. Though, I do know who can make it greater.

Conflict of Interest: I am the Orientation Coordinator in The Black Hawks (rank: Major) and a citizen of Asgard. I previously served two terms as the Vizier of WA Affairs in Osiris (one term it was Sub-Vizier), I was elected Chief Scribe for one term. Elected Chief Vizier for one term. In Balder I have been elected into the Storting, the regional legislature, and was appointed Minister of Integration.

You mentioned that still hold the views and ideas you expressed in your previous campaign, and during that campaign and in your previous term you expressed a desire to fully repeal the proscribed regions and organizations law. Do you attempt to pursue a full repeal of the PRO law should you be elected to a second term and will a hypothetical administration of yours be introducing legislation to achieve such an objective?

During your previous term in a discussion on the repeal of the PRO law, you positively mentioned the idea of changing the Sekhmet Legion from a Raider military to a Neutral one. Do you still support such a military policy and will a hypothetical administration of yours be introducing legislation or other policies to achieve such an objective?

No I will not be pursuing a repeal of the PRO law unless the citizens of Osiris are all in favor of it. I believe it is currently serving a good purpose.

I personally would not mind the Legion being neutral, but once again, if it's members enjoy strictly raising then I won't change any of that.

Hi Sygian. This looks like a pretty solid platform. I do have a couple questions.

1. There's a lot of talk lately of pan-Sinker this and pan-Sinker that. Are you in favor of some kind of pan-Sinker treaty or bilateral alliances with Lazarus or the Rejected Realms? What, if anything, do we have in common with Lazarus and/or the Rejected Realms that would provide a foundation for a strong alliance with either region?

2. While you've had some significant accomplishments and I don't want to detract from those at all, the reality is that Osiris has been running on fumes for months now, even predating your term as Chief Vizier (so don't take this as me blaming you). What will you do as Chief Vizier to ensure that the next term is more active? Because, honestly, we can't afford several more months like these. The longer the region is inactive, the harder it will be to restore activity.
