A Big Cat Campaign!
Hi everyone.Sorry about posting this so late! The week back from spring break is a bit crazy at school! I think it is time that I do something else other than Chief Vizier. Do not get me wrong, the position is great, and I had a lot of fun doing it! But it is also very time consuming, and requires a considerable amount of attention. I do not want to burn myself out, get stuck in a rut, and it is good to have someone else in office to give the place a new sense of energy! I appreciate everything everyone has done for Osiris during my terms as Chief Vizier. Everyone has to give some of their time to get things rolling, and it is all you can really ever ask for. So given all that, I figured it would be a good idea to run for Chief Scribe, and shake things up a bit, hopefully bringing some new activity from the change.
For those of you that do not know me, or are new to the region, I am the Anarchic Republic of Adytus! I am currently a Guardian, and Chief Vizier of Osiris. This is the end of my second term as Chief Vizier, and like I said earlier, I think it is time for a change! I have been in office for six crazy and awesome months with a lot of ups and downs, certainly making it something I will always remember. But I am looking forward to a new set of responsibilities, and carrying out those responsibilities the best that I can! I promise that I will always be around to make sure the job gets done. Appointing active, and encouraging deputies for the job is also a number one priority for me. So if you are interested in drafting laws, please telegram me, or send me a message on discord and I will get back to you! In addition, I would also like to thank Badger for the job he has done so far as Sygian’s appointment to the Priesthood. I may reappoint Badger, but I am also interest in hearing from other please that are interested as well, so again, please contact me if you are interested! Bringing in new faces is never a bad thing. I believe it helps encourage members of the community to get more involved. If I am elected, it is also top on my priority list that my deputies and I work to get more citizens involved in drafting laws. The newly passive Holiday Act is a great example of that kind of encouragement; more of that will be great for Osiris! I am also interested in clearing up any blurry areas in the laws. For example, the transition process for people moving for Chief Scribe to Chief Vizier, or the other way around is something people have shown some concern about. I would also like to have more standardized election days, and attempt to get their dates on times of the year that are the most open for everyone.
For anyone concerned about how the transition between Chief Vizier and Chief Scribe would go, I believe it was decided that as soon as the election was over, I would resign my office as outlined by the constitution, and a new election for Chief Vizier will then start. Best of luck to everyone!
Conflict of Interest Disclosure
- Lazarus – I am just a citizen of Lazarus, and have not held office there for a long time. It was the first region I joined when I started playing the game, and I have maintained my citizenship there since I have left. For a brief time, I was in the cabinet as head of World Assembly matters. That is the only position I held there. Since I have left, I hardly am around in Lazarus.
- Balder – I am not active in Balder, but I have had citizenship there too. I joined the region around the same time I joined Osiris, and have just stuck around.
- I believe that is it! I was a citizen of the Rejected Realms, and was also an officer there for a while, but nothing much ever happened. I have since resigned my citizenship there because I would rather just work in Osiris. We are just better.
