OPL: Discussion

As discussed in the join thread, we will be looking into establishing player trading next season. I'd like to move the discussion and all discussion on the OPL structure to this thread so as to keep the join thread clean.

My idea was to have rankings for players out of 100 with just a few players over 90, and more and more as the ratings get lower.

I need to find a way to organize this, as creating so many players is a gargantuan organizational effort.

I like the idea of a draft, only downside is that it would be a bit more difficult for you (or whoever the organizer is) to set up. But I think it'll be totally worth the time and effort. Also, player trades would be nice.

Maybe even a subforum in the Roleplay forum for this. We could also have a thread where you post news team updates, interviews, etc (all IC and optional).

also i think instead of salaries, we can implement minimum and maximum of player ratings per team. example: must have a minimum of three 70-80 overall rated players and a maximum of two 90+ per team. each season depending how well or how bad our team did, the "alowence" per team can change. Or they dont change but the player ratings do coinciding with how well or bad that player did during the season, their ratings could go up or down and if they exceed your teams two 90+ rated player allowence then you have to trade.. just a thought.
