Wartime Titles and Awards Amendment Act is now at vote. Voting will conclude at 10:45 EST, Thursday 1st August.

This is not a amendment to the Scroll of Horus and as such it will only require a simple majority of 50%+1 vote to pass the Council of Scribes.
Citizens may vote Aye, Nay or Abstain the vote.

Wartime Titles and Awards Amendment

I. Amendment to the Regional Traditions Act

(1)The following will be amended into the Regional Traditions Act, as section (1), subsection g.

g. The Khopesh of Montu - Awarded to persons who have distinguished themselves in times of war.

II. Amendments to the Nobility and Honours Act

(1)The following shall be Amended into the Nobility and Honours Act as Article II, Section (12).

(12)The noble title of Medjai shall be considered equivalent to the title of Knight/Dame found within other regions.The formal style of address shall be "Medjai [their surname or name]," with preference to the honored's surname, where applicable.

(2)The following shall be amended into the Nobility and Honours Act as Article III, section (8) and all subsequent sections shall be appropriately renumbered.

(8)Those citizens awarded the "Khopesh of Montu," shall be immediately inducted into the Ancient and Martial Order of Montu. They shall be afforded the style of address "Madam/Master [their name]" in all settings, formal and informal.

On Thursday 1st August at 4:10 PM EST the Council of Scribes vote to Pass, by a vote of 8-0-0, The Wartime Titles and Awards Amendment Act. As it is not a constitutional amendment no vote by the Council of Guardians was needed and as such this act requires the Pharaoh's assent.
