Description: Recognizing a persons right to own a firearm of reasonable strength
Noting that this human right is often intruded on
Seeking to help citizens protect themselves from those who wish to do them harm
Seeking to protect citizens from tyrannical governments
Mandates that all nations must allow citizens of who are deemed able to do so to own firearms
Recommends that all nations have laws to encourage safe use of firearms
Does not require member nations to allow assault rifles

What is this I don't even. I think it's trying to require nations to allow everyone to own a firearm as long as it isn't an assault weapon. Like that or leave that, there is a serious flaw in the text itself: "Mandates that all nations must allow citizens of who are deemed able to do so to own firearms"
So uh, yeah. That means it basically does nothing. A waste of our time, and a waste of breath... but here we are.
I recommend a vote of AGAINST.

Agreed. This is a complete and total mess. I definitely recommend a vote of Against, as well.
