The Zeira Confederacy
The Zeira Confederacy is an isolated kingdom in the southwest corner of Osiris. It is a confederate tetrarchy composed of four related tribes, each descended from ancient kings: Liocas, Thanos, Damutur and Marov. The tetrarchy is composed of the heirs of each of these ancient kings. The current Zeira Tetrarchs are Gaharis of Liocasia, Ozimar of Thanosia, Clados of Damutur and Deladus of Marov.
Liocasia
Liocas is the easternmost of the tribes. While all Zeira are generally despised outside their borders, Liocasians generally get on easier with foreigners than their neighboring tribes. The Liocasians are the most scientifically advanced of the Zeira tribes as theirs is a culture that values academic achievement more than the art of war. The Liocasian tetrarch, Gaharis, takes residence in Biga, the largest city of eastern Zeira and home to the Temple of Zailea, the god of wisdom favored by Liocasians.
Thanosia
Thanos occupies the northeastern corner of Zeira, almost entirely in the mountains. Most Thanosians wander the land in clans, with the exception of those who inhabit the holy city of Hiru, home of the Temple of Clomadis, the Thanosian god of death.
