Statement on Citizenship Applications from Spiritans

In its statement of 10 December, the Elemental Republic of Spiritus condemned the Osiris Fraternal Order as "another coup of Osiris" and an "act of oppression" -- pledging "full military and diplomatic support" to the so-called "liberation and restoration" of Osiris, which is to say support for The Empire and their supporters. This, combined with the continued maintenance of medium to high influence sleepers within Osiris without authorization by the Osiris Fraternal Order, is nothing short of an act of unwarranted aggression against the People of Osiris and their legitimate government, the Osiris Fraternal Order.

For these reasons, although citizenship applications will continue to be reviewed by the Pharaoh on a case by case basis, as general policy no further citizenship applications by current citizens of Spiritus are likely to be accepted unless they resign citizenship in Spiritus or until the Elemental Republic of Spiritus has ceased its unwarranted aggression against Osiris.
