Preamble
To further open and grow the relationship between Osiris and Kantrias the undersigned agree on the terms of this Pact.
Article I - Mutual Recognition
The Osiris Fraternal Order (“Osiris”) and the Empire of Kantrias (“Kantrias”), hereafter referred to as “Signatories”, acknowledge each other’s legitimacy and governing authority, including any documents that confer such authority to their respective regions and territories.
- (a) The Empire of Kantrias recognizes only the current government of the Osiris Fraternal Order as established by the Scroll of Horus and Pharaoh Ark as the head-of-state and fount of Osiran Authority, as the sole legitimate government and any successor governments as determined by the Pharaoh or their successors/designees.
- (b) The Osiris Fraternal Order recognizes only the current government of the Empire of Kantrias as established by the Imperial Constitution and Emperor Arran Drake “Skar” Quilor as head-of-state and fount of Kantrian Authority, as the sole legitimate government and any successor governments as determined by the Emperor or his successors/designees.
- (i) The Osiris Fraternal Order also recognizes any governments of Territories of Kantrias as established by Kantrian law legitimate.
- (c) Should either Signatory merge into, cede their decision-making to, or otherwise surrender their sovereignty to a third party, it will not be considered a successor government and this document will be null and void.
Article II - Non-Aggression
Article III - Intelligence Operations
- (a) Osiris agrees to not engage in acts of military aggression against Kantrias.
- (i) Osiris agrees to not partake in military aggression against Territories held by Kantrias as established by Kantrian law.
- (ii) Osiris agrees to not partake in military aggression-by-proxy against Territories held by Kantrias as established by Kantrian law.
- (b) Kantrias agrees to not engage in acts of military aggression against Osiris.
- (c) The Signatories agree to not engage in acts of military aggression-by-proxy against one another or their Territories.
- (d) The Signatories will not interfere with military operations led by either of the Signatories.
- (a) The Signatories shall not engage in any intelligence operations against each other.
- (b) The Signatories shall endeavour to provide intelligence information to each other if such information is pertinent to either of the Signatories their security or cohesion, or otherwise upon either Signatory’s reasonable request.
Article IV - Revisions and Dissolution
- (a) The Signatories acknowledge that revisions to this Pact may be necessary to reflect the changing realities of both Signatories.
- (b) Any amendments to this Pact will require the consent of both Signatories for ratification.
- (i) The amended Pact will come into force on the date of ratification by both Signatories as dictated by their respective legislative procedures.
- (c) Either Signatory may seek to dissolve this Pact at any time for valid reasons, though meaningful dialogue between the recognized governments is strongly encouraged before invoking dissolution.
- (i) The Signatory invoking dissolution has to inform the other Signatory of their intentions seven (7) days in advance.
- (ii) Reasonable efforts to notify the other Signatory must be made by the Signatory invoking dissolution.
- (d) Termination of this Pact shall not be seen as an act of war or hostility.
