Happy Wepet Renpet! As with many traditional celebrations of the New Year around the world and across time, ancient Egyptians wished for prosperity, good fortune, and more during the festivities surrounding the summer solstice, return of the star Sirius, and the inundation of the Nile.

I'm wishing for smoother financial sailing for both myself and many of my friends this coming year after some real rough patches over the last few months!

I wish my health to at least stop declining so fast.
