It is both our pleasure and lamentation to bring this announcement to you today. The Osiran government recently concluded two votes. One of these votes was an unfortunate necessity, the other calls for celebration. Both, however, have made a significant impact on Osiris’ future as a region.

We will begin with the unfortunate news. Osiris has officially repealed its treaty with the East Pacific. While we do not intend to end relations altogether with TEP, we cannot in good conscience continue a treaty alliance with a region that actively promotes an Osiran traitor and allows them to speak for its government. This fact, coupled with TEP’s disregard for its allies in the process of forming the “Consortium” alliance, betrays a distinct change in their reliability as an ally. Going forward, we will continue to share ambassadors as long as TEP also desires to do so. However, we will not be re-evaluating the idea of a treaty for the foreseeable future. We are saddened to have been placed in this position, especially since some of our concerns were already addressed by TEP prior under Marrabuk. The fact that TEP chose to reverse Marrabuk’s reparative actions is incredibly worrying, and will serve as a staunch barrier to bettering relations until it is addressed.

Secondly, we are ecstatic to announce that Dakota/Valerievna has been officially confirmed as the Heiress Apparent of Osiris. While we have no intention of transitioning pharaohs soon, we are nonetheless incredibly proud of and thankful for Dakota’s service to the region. Her dedication to our community over the years has been nothing less than superb. We are honored to have such a talented individual selected to continue the legacy of our region. We feel it is not inappropriate to say that Dakota has earned this position, as well as the confidence of the Osiran Citizenry.

We are, as always, grateful to you Osiris. For the wisdom and understanding you continuously showcase. With Dakota as the future of Osiris, we know that this region we all love will continue to prosper and shine.
