The Community Affairs Department is delighted to present to you the Osiris Rewards Program. The rewards program is the natural evolution of the “opening up” of the departments. Opening up the departments makes it easier for citizens to participate in the government, with the rewards program helping incentivise citizens who may not have otherwise engaged, to partake in the civil service. Additionally to this announcement, the Community Affairs department is opening up, effective immediately.
How are points earned?
Points are awarded for activity, legislation or participation in government, including the Legion. Departmental participation points are awarded by the Vizier or Moshir in the case of the Legion. Individual departmental excellence awards are awarded by the Vizier or Moshir in consultation with the Chief Vizier. Departmental participation and excellence awards give exponentially with regards to time invested than forum posts or discord posts. How are rewards earned?
At the end of the month and at the end of every year, the individuals with the most points will be given rewards which are detailed below. Points thresholds will be dynamically altered at the end of each month and yearly thresholds will be decided in December so that broadly the same proportion of people receive Bronze, Silver and Gold rewards each month.
What rewards do you get?
The precise details of the Rewards available will be explained in the full breakdown below but broadly there will be Sig badges, banners and discord roles up for grabs on the monthly rewards. With regards to the yearly rewards you can expect forum flair badges, special yearbook sections, Graphics requests and other cool things!
How do I get involved and what is gonna change?
You can sign up for activity and civil service rewards just by posting in this thread here.In the short term nothing much will change really, besides CA opening up and points in the bulletin board. Starting in August you will see the first monthly rewards as we start to get into a rhythm. You can see the new civil service points in #bulletin-board on the discord.
